  1. I was reading where you say no trinity: was wondering about John 16:13, Eph. 4:30, Mark 3:29 and Math. 12:32, what is your take on these.

    1. I don’t understand the connection with the scriptures you have provided. I have never stated that there is no Holy Spirit but rather that the teaching of the trinity is false. The Holy Spirit is not the trinity or even part of a trinity. None of those scripture speak or teach about God existing as a trinity or His Spirit being a separate entity of Himself. God is “Spirit” and God is “Holy” so the Holy Spirit of God belongs to God. The Holy Spirit of God is the possession of Himself. When God pours out His spirit on humanity, He is giving us Himself and not someone else.

      2. Gotcha… Well, God is “Spirit”! God is not a person so therefore His spirit is also not a person. God’s “spirit” belongs to Him just like your heart and capacity to love belongs to you. Your heart is not a separate entity of you, it is a part of you. When you give your heart to someone you love like your mother, father, siblings, wife, or children, you are giving them the invisible “possession” of you and not another person! They can experience your love with them. The Holy Spirit is the POSSESSION of God! When God gives us His spirit, God is giving us Himself and we can experience God with us!

      7. Brother, At the 2nd resurrection judgment, Will men be judged solely on the type of life they lived? The reason being, since God did not draw them during their earthly life and did not give them the faith to believe, how can they be judged for their unbelief? In the same line of thinking, those of us who have been given faith to believe, is it the type of life we live which places us in the 1st resurrection? Since there are individuals who were believers that leave the narrow path.

      8. I think you are looking at the word “judgment” in the wrong sense. Judgment is about correction or making things right. Revelation 21:8 says that the fearful (timid or faithless) and MURDERERS will have their part in the lake of fire but surely their judgment will not be the same in terms of God doing what needs to be done to correct them both. Having faith is not enough for earning a position to rise in the first resurrection believers must also overcome this age of wickedness.

    2. I’ve Been in church all my life and I’m now trying to teach my family about the real meaning of hell and the lake of fire. Can you talk about this incorruptible body we suppose to get that burns forever and the fire that is seven times hotter then normal?

  2. Good morning, I’ve been researching other beliefs outside the christianity writings and have found that human nature tends to “revise” what it feels isn’t to it’s liking. For instance movies like 3 billboards, the true story wasn’t “screen-worthy” so they revised the truth, the only thing that remained is that a family lost a daughter and put up 3 billboards to try to find the killer, the rest of the movie is fiction, Fargo, although they say it’s a true story it is 100% fiction. We do this with our own lives and the lives of those we love, maybe not in such a grand scale but we do. We will sometimes revise the actual events to make them more exciting or shine a better light on our own actions. This is what I believe has happened to God’s word. Man has revised His/Their thruth because man didn’t like the real story, thus creating contradictions in text and 3 different possible belief systems with “justification” where the belief isn’t supported. We as “christians” say God is a God of community, but He is a loner, however, more belief systems show that there is a “God” community and the word God is actually the family name Elohim which is the ruling family. Many religions have multiple gods with a family of Gods at the top. it was later that christianity desolved this to one. Other religions give both men & women (Gods) equal power, christianity gave the male of the species more power by declaring one God a male. I am not saying there isn’t truth in the christian writings but I am saying man has distorted God’s truth to his own liking because he didn’t like the story as it was. For instance, Sumarian belief is that there are 2 Male & Female and their offspring (gods) roamed the earth and cared for it, however, it became increasingly difficult and one was created as a sacrifice to create humans. The blood of the one created nations of humans….sound familiar, it is…bible teachings vary in translation but it is from the blood of one that all nations were created.The genisis story of creation has never quite set well with me because there are to many holes in it. I believe that the leaders/priests/kings of the time didn’t like the true story so they made up this narrative, that there is only one God and He created one man then thought the man needed companionship and created woman then walked in the “garden” with them until one day they disobeyed His comand and He found out, like He didn’t already know, like when He first created this in the story, man was supposed to be ok with just animal companions but after a time God saw that he was unhappy and created woman, also, the “sin” was not really their fault it was the “serpent” so even though we may “own” our behavior to a point, we can still blame someone else. Back to God walking in eden, in the new testiment the Messiah/Christus says no one has seen the Father, so who was walking in eden (which by the way means flat land or steppe, not garden or paradise). He also says if you have seen me you have seen the Father, giving rise to the false trinity doctrine, human fathers are seen in their sons, the nature of the father is in the son. that is what was supposed to be conveyed in my opinion. the “bible” states that “many will be deceived” what better way to do so, even the writings say this “satan” tempted the “messiah” in the desert using God’s word, so why not now, why not the most popular belief system on earth. When did we decide our version was the only “right” one. I know this will bring tons of disagreement, but this is what I am finding right now, “scripture” as it is now, isn’t completely true, once more, I believe there is truth in it, but man has distorted it and revised it to his own liking. Christianity says if you confess with your lips that “Jesus” is Lord and believe in your heart that he was raised from the dead you are saved, the “unclean spirits at the lake in the man did that, “Satan” did that and yet “christianity” says they don’t get saved so how do we know we are if that is how it work or doesn’t, they will validate by saying it’s a heart matter or “Satan” hates “God” but the qualification doesn’t say anything about how you feel about “God” only that you believe & confess. I do believe that Elohim family is greater than what any religion portrays and forgives ALL. I also, believe that some of the “human” stories in the bible are actually “god” stories not humans, but man adapted them because he didn’t like the truth. I’m still researching but this is where I’m at to date, thx for the forum.

  3. I’ve been following your web site recently, and cautiously, with interest.
    I came to faith 40 years ago which was life changing..no sinners prayer or pressure from evangelistic outreach..just a mind opening revelation of God and as He willed..very simple!

    Cutting the long story short…I’ve been questioning lately the historic development of the theology behind what I’ve come to subscribe to within traditional church after that conversion.
    This, after reading George Macdonald, Andrew Jukes and Hannah Whittall Smith who seem to subscribe in various shades to Universal Salvation.. and after reading them , I had a great hope and new perspective of the amazing good news of our faith, which I frankly could not see any ‘Good News’ before within the narrow confines of the privileged few/elect.

    Also I came to question God’s total sovereignity in accomplishing His absolute will for all and could not accept that it counts on my own works of belief..why should I be favoured above others through a random decision of will?

    Thankyou for the alternative view. I’m still trying to work through it and how I continue in loving my family in Christ in traditional church and teaching as my views change within the true gospel of Christ.

    1. Hello Miranda it’s good to hear from you again! Remember when studying the scriptures that it is extremely important to understand the context of the passage. Jesus is speaking to all of Jerusalem and he is making a prophecy in regards to the future destruction of Jerusalem and it’s temple. It is recorded in history that Jerusalem was destroyed along with it’s temple in 70 AD. The Jews were strict adherents to Jewish law which included the Sabbath which required that you rest from all of your work. The Jews were told to flee to the mountains in verse 16 but many stayed. They chose to hold on to their physical works to the law and their physical temple which ultimately lead to them being slaughtered by the Romans. If this isn’t clear let me know and I’ll expand on it a little more for you. Take care…

  9. What do you get out of John 5:42-43?? I’m curious on your thoughts.And is there anything particular you call the Messiah? Jesus, Yeshua, yehuah? This has been weighing on my mind because of Malachi 2:2…I always like the wisdom you share because a little bit of help(A boost) can make such a difference in my understanding of things when I go to study.Thank you in advance..

    1. Jesus was just rebuking the religious leaders of their hypocrisy in John 5:42-43. They claimed to be God’s people but rejected everything that Jesus spoke of not realizing that the words of Jesus came from God Himself.

      I don’t really get into the name thing when it comes to whether “Jesus” is the appropriate name or not. There are groups that feel like they are special because they think they call “Jesus” by his right name but “Jesus” is just the English transliteration of the Hebrew name “Yeshua” from the Greek name “Iēsous”. With that said, Malachi 2:2 was written specifically for the priests of Levi.

      Malachi 2:1 “And now, O priests, this commandment is for you.

      You need not worry about that and “Jesus” is certainly appropriate for the name simply means “God is Salvation”!

      As for holidays, I participate any many traditional American holidays but I don’t necessarily “celebrate” them. There are many mundane things that can consume our time in this life that I try not to get worked up about. My least favorite holiday is Christmas for it is nothing but an overindulgence in unnecessary spending. I like Thanksgiving because it is one of few holidays were I get to see members of my family that I don’t usually get to see that often. I had a guy come on here and he tried to rebuke me for celebrating holidays and I thought it was actually kind of comical that he took it that serious. There is just too much already that we have to worry about why waste time finding insignificant things to worry about? My advice would be that if celebrating holidays is a good thing for you and your family, continue to do it just be modest about it. Don’t overdue it because that is when it can be considered paganism. I participate in Easter but it is a total load of crap. I know this but it doesn’t mean that I’m going to take away happiness from my young daughter. She will learn that it is nonsense in her own timing. We all become accustomed to traditions. Placing our right hand over our hearts in allegiance to the country at the playing of America’s national anthem. Some will say that this is not of God and maybe it isn’t but it is what it is. I try not to stress the small stuff….

  10. And I have another question for you? Do you celebrate holidays? I’m not casting judgment because I have always celebrated holidays, but I’m really rethinking it.And how hard that will be when my children are use to having that all their lives.I guess there is alot of things I’m seeing and having a “Changing of heart” with..I’m also curious on your take when it comes to holidays and traditions of men?

    You have answered my previous questions and pointed me in the right direction. I read your article on the heretical doctrine of the trinity. I repented for being an advocate of the trinity and even teaching it to others.
    My question deals with the Holy Spirit. Is the Spirit given to the chosen (elect) only OR to all who have been called by God? When I read Ephesians, Paul states in Ephesians 1:13-14 that the Ephesian saints were sealed with the Holy Spirit as an earnest deposit.

    1. Believers have God’s “spirit” in earnest in this life. When we purchase a house we make a small “earnest” payment which is like $500.00 but the full price of the house may be $250,000.00. The earnest payment is a promise to the lender that you will make good on the financial transaction. God does the same with believers for He has made a promise to us that He will make good on His promise to bestow the believer with the full measure of His “spirit” in due time.

      However, God will eventually be “All in All”! 1 Corinthians 15:28

      1. I understand the analogy and the “All in All” in 1 Cor. 15:28. I thought the chosen were a subset of the called and that only the chosen receive the earnest deposit which will be fully manifest at our first fruits resurrection. Therefore, if I understand your answer, there is no difference between the called and the chosen when discussing the earnest deposit of the holy spirit. All believers or saints have the holy spirit, The full measure is according to God’s timetable.

Well I’m very pleased you replied back.And yes, that’s why I was asking you about what you call him because I’ve been criticized more than once..Since I found your blog you have been an inspiration to me.Very knowledgeable & obviously full of wisdom.I’ve always celebrated holidays but was also told that if I’m going to be “A chosen” vessel than I need to stay away from Paganism.It’s just something that has been on the forefront of my mind.But I’ve never let a Christmas tree hold that much power over me, or any other traditions.I have always thought about it as “Fun times to get with family you don’t see too often”..I guess I’ve let people’s judgments on me get to me when I shouldn’t..And Thank you again for the feedback.

  12. You have to be patient with me for asking so many questions. I spent over 40 years in the institutional church earning seminary degrees and teaching Bible classes, which is absolutely worthless to me, When I left the church I ventured into the Hebrew Roots movement and then to the Messianic Jews. I went from the frying pan into the fire. I just exchanged one institution for another. I literally cried.

    I am trying to sort things out as best as possible. When I taught high school calculus, it came easy to me but I assumed that my students could “see” it too. Unfortunately, I left many in the dust. I apologized to them as I wrapped up my secular teaching career.

    Likewise with the profound truths of the Scriptures. I know you understand because you walked away from that heretical system. Perhaps I just got way too entrenched in those doctrines of demons and traditions of men.

    So I’m probably missing the obvious and not asking the right question. You say I am misinterpreting something. What is it? Peter says in Acts 5:32 that the Holy Spirit is given to those who obey God. No problem with interpretation here. If you obey God, He gives you the Holy Spirit. Got it. I always taught that the Holy Spirit is given to ALL believers as an earnest deposit. Whether they lived godly lives or not did not change that fact, at least in my carnal mind.

    I listened to Ray Smith teach on the parable of the sower and many things started to make sense. Many are called, but few are chosen. Are those called out ones, those who are dragged to the Son by the Father, all recipients of the Holy Spirit? Or are only those who bear fruit (the good soil) possessors of the Spirit? The first three “soils” did NOT produce fruit. Am I making sense? Am I asking the right question? .

    I beseech you (I always liked that word) to redirect my thinking. I have prayed. I have repented over so much. Now I cry out again. I have been deceived so long it’s hard to know the truth when I “see” it.

    I sense your frustration in your response to my last inquiry.

The fact that you are asking questions says a lot about your desire for understanding and I’m happy to have this platforms to share ideas with others.     When the “First” beast is spoken about, is it speaking about Rome?(Catholicism)? I know we all have the beast(Carnality) inside of us-But they were first.Christianity in a sense to me would be the second(Which is most of humanity) Because they are really no different than Rome without realizing it.And I’ve been thinking about something.The worshipping of the false Image? Christianity believe they’re worshipping Christ- but in reality is it Satan behind the image? This is a bit hard to explain without sounding ignorant.But they think they’re worshipping Christ- but in reality it’s Satan behind this image.Maybe you can help me on this.It’s something I’ve wanted to ask for a while, but I felt stupid in asking.Maybe you can help me in understanding better if you would take a notion to it when you get time? Thank you in advance.

    1. If you are referring to the beast of Revelation that rises from the sea then that beast is always the beast within that rises out of the sea carnal humanity. A lot of people believe that Catholicism is the first beast and that the Pope is the antichrist but I don’t buy any of that ideology. Christians certainly follow a false Christ but the false image is each individual believers belief that they are God. No question is a stupid question accept for the question you don’t ask… 😉

  14. Question: On your paper of the Plan of God Salvation for the whole World (sorry bad paraphrasing) I think there is one part that makes it difficult to grasp fully. This is not to condemn or judge what you’ve written. I’m seeking clarity for myself and others.

    You make the points, of which I agree, that it is God who hardens who he hardens. And also that as we are shown with Israel, in part, that God also blinds and deafens at His will for His purpose. That it is not up to man, none of it, by by election on God’s part so that it is shown to be His mercy and grace and not of the works of any man, lest they be able to boast. I get that.

    I also get the bit about not questioning God for His choices to harden or have mercy or honor or dishonor vessel make.

    Here’s where it gets murky in your writing of God’s Plan of Salvation of the World – of which I do agree, so “that” isn’t the issue:

    Considering all the other groundwork you laid down, we read this:

    From THOSE SLEEPING IN THE SOIL OF THE GROUND MANY SHALL AWAKE, these to EONIAN LIFE and these to REPROACH FOR EONIAN REPULSION.

    “So again, in Matthew 25:46, Jesus is describing the two age-lasting (eonian) resurrection periods. So what exactly is eonian chastisement or repulsion? In the resurrection to judgment, God will chastise those who rejected the gospel of truth and those who succumbed to the power of the Satan during their life on earth. God doesn’t punish or chastise anyone in some evil pagan torture chamber. Remember that God judges to teach righteousness. Do you doubt this? Or would you prefer that God toss billions of men, women, grandparents, and children into the evil beloved hell of Christianity? Let me show you the end result of what happens during the resurrection to judgment;”

    Of all of that, the one statement in that statement confuses me:

    “God will chastise those who rejected the gospel of truth and those who succumbed to the power of the Satan during their life on earth.”

    It would appear that the only difference between the Christian doctrine and yours is what judgement means, and in regards to the finality of an eternal hell or separation from God.
    The reason I say that is because you both leave the “rejected the gospel of truth” in the hands of the human will.
    Yet everything you’ve written prior suggests that if a person rejects the gospel of truth it is because God has willed it for that person’s time.
    If that is all true, then it is difficult to imagine 1. Anyone “succumbing” to anything if it was put upon them by the will of God, and 2. Being chastised for something that you were created to be.

    There does seem to be a contradiction. Sorry for my struggle in this and being a burden. I appreciate your work and efforts. I’m just having a difficult time with that bit.

    1. Eonian chastisement/repulsion is a future corrective period in which God will destroy the works of every man’s carnal self. There is a passage in 1 Corinthians 3 that talks about every man’s work being tried by the fire but this is a spiritual fire. God’s fire refines and purifies.

      While I do believe that God is ultimately responsible for all things, there is responsibility on the part of the believer to respond. There are many called by few chosen. Why? Because not everyone answers the call. There are some that are too engulfed in this worlds affairs to be a part of the chosen and there are some that are too swallowed up by their own lusts to be a part of the chosen. The parable of the sower in the field explains this very well. I believe that the work of God happens in a series of steps through a persons life. One doesn’t overcome the world simply by quoting a 10 second prayer but rather by overcoming a life of suffering. Going through and overcoming all kinds of trials and tribulations. The statement, “God will chastise those who rejected the gospel of truth and those who succumbed to the power of the Satan during their life on earth” was a statement to describe why a person would find themselves rising up in the resurrection to judgment. Believers go through judgment in this life in this present age while judgment for the rest of the world is preserved in the future. If God intended for MANY to find the way of the truth in this present age then He would have set the stage for MANY to find it. He has set the stage for only FEW to find it so it is extremely difficult to achieve. God is there along the way but the believer has to respond to move on to the next phase of being glorified. This is indeed some heavy stuff to consider so I hope that I’ve helped you understand my position a little better.

      1. Well, yes and no. I’ll have to meditate on it a bit more I guess. It seems that if it’s up to the person’s will and desire and effort to achieve it then it’s no longer grace but via works (to be among the few first fruits not part of the whole saved) and a man can boast to God about his will and desire and effort to find “that” narrow path to become one of the few. It seems self refuting, still, “to me”.
        Maybe it will take some clarity on Paul’s teaching about running the race by the rules to get the prize – or his final realization at the end of his physical life when he said he was torn between staying with them and leaving to be with the Lord…
        Either way. It’s either in God’s hands or not, I’d think?
        I mean, I don’t anyone to have to go through any more hardship than the amounts we’ve all endured and put upon one another here, and especially my immediate family, but really I don’t wish anymore on anyone. I don’t like this condition of our exercise in futility where we crush each other so. I just want to be home. I’ve wandered my whole life searching for it. Anyway… I hope in God’s mercy that whatever comes next in refinement that it’s so very fast that whoever has to go through it that it happens so fast, like ripping off a band aide, that they don’t notice it much if at all. I’m tired of brutality, of being brutal.
        I’m still having issues sorting out how, if all come from the same lump, that some can be offspring of Satan and others children of God.
        Guess that’s why His ways are so deep and mysterious that no one can know His mind in the absolute. Kind of like walking towards a source of light. In the beginning you can see distinctions, make out shapes, things seem clear, but the closer you get the light consumes you and all those separations vanish and you’re engulfed in this light that embraces you and you’re just present and know the light and the light knows you and there’s nothing else to know.
        I don’t know…

      2. Faith without works is dead faith. What good is a person’s faith if the product their faith doesn’t bear fruit? Faith itself is a gift from God so for any man to boast about the work that God is doing in His chosen vessels life would seem pretty naive to me on the part of the individual. Spiritual growth is a process. One of the main spiritual fruits that a person acquires as they walk with God is humility. For whatever reason, God saw it fit to subject humanity to evil and futility. We can take solace in the fact that it is only temporary. There is much that can be perplexing and overwhelming indeed when it comes to God’s strange work.

  15. Mr.Randolph, sorry for always asking so many questions but what is your take on “Baptism”?? As far as Christianity stating you must be baptized with water in order to see the kingdom of God, which I feel is not accurate?

    1. Being baptized in water is just a religious ritual that means virtually NOTHING if one isn’t baptized in the Spirit. For one, the kingdom of God is spiritual and not visible with the physical human eye so anyone that thinks they can literally “see” the kingdom of God in the flesh is highly mistaken. We are no longer to participate in such religious rituals that signify things that must occur in the spirit. Take circumcision for an example… I realize now that it is a medical custom for baby boys to be circumcised but in the Jewish community, the cutting off of the foreskin on the penis was/is a religious symbol but when has the cutting off a little piece of skin made anyone live righteously? Spiritual circumcision involves the cutting off of the flesh from within a person’s heart. Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Being baptized in water is nothing more than getting wet. Spiritual baptism is being baptized into the death of Jesus Christ and rising to new life in the spirit.

  16. What are your views on the Bible? How can we trust it and the stories if we know it has not been translated correctly? I know it is the inspired word of God, but what does that really mean?
    My husband recently fell away from the Christian faith a few years ago and I was so upset. Now I am starting to have my doubts as well. I have always been a Christian, but with my husband stepping away from the faith has really caused me to evaluate some of the Christian thinking. Is he really going to be condemned to hell? I appreciate any thoughts or feedback. Something that I can share with him about the Bible.

    1. The bible is a tool kind of like a hammer. A hammer can be used to build but it also can be used to destroy. In the same way, the bible can be used to build but in the wrong hands it can be a tool of destruction. When people say “the bible” they fail to consider that there are dozens of bible translations in existence and even with that, all bibles haven’t been translated the same way. In certain circumstances they don’t even agree and at the worst they contradict each other. Bibles are not the inspired word of God. That is a common thing that people believe but God spoke to holy men and the original writers of scripture wrote the words of God in Hebrew and in Greek. Over the ages, Latin and English became the more dominant languages so the Hebrew and Greek scriptures had to be translated into Latin and English for Latin and English readers to be able to hear the scriptures in the language they understood. The Roman Catholic Church (RCC) is a very POWERFUL institution and their agenda was to figure out a way to control the religious masses. During the time that the King James Version was being written, Christianity went through an enlightenment period were many began to study the scriptures and uncovering the lies and corruption of the RCC. This is what started what is known as the Reformation movement. Why did Christianity need to be “reformed”? Because it was clear to many religious leaders at the time that the RCC was corrupt and they were exploiting the ignorant laity. I will give a quick lesson on how bible translators played their little corrupt word games so as to change the word of God to support the agenda of the church. Let’s consider John 3:17 as it is translated in the King James Version;

      For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

      This is what John 3:17 looks like in the Greek Textus Receptus before it was translated into English;

      Now, neither one of us can read Greek so we have to depend on the translators to get it right but what if their motives were corrupt? Here is were things get interesting…

      In John 3:17, is there any word that sticks out to you? Maybe not but let me tell you that the word “might” as in “might be saved” is not in the Greet text. The Greek has other words that could be translated as the English word “might” but those Greek words are not found in the Greek texts of John 3:17. They added might because they didn’t want Christians to think that the Christ is going to save the world but rather only those who submit to the will of the church. God didn’t send Christ into the world to condemn the world, He sent Christ to save the world. If Christ saves the world, what does that say about Christianity’s hell? The church doesn’t want you to believe that God through Christ is going to save the whole world. They want you to be a loyal slave to their cult so that you can keep giving them your money. They don’t care about you! They just want your money. Christianity is a scam. It is all about money so they can build their large Babylonian temples of worship and buy expensive cars, mansions, and clothes which is the same thing that the world tells us to chase. We are admonished to study to show ourselves approved so even though some bibles may be corrupt, we still have to do our due diligence. Your husband may very well be condemned to hell by other Christians but he will not find such condemnation from me nor will he find any from our Savior! This is the beginning of God’s work in your husband’s spiritual life. We all are called first and we must go through Babylon before God will call us out but do you have eyes to see or ears to hear? Listen to what Jesus Christ says to His people…

      Christ is commanding His people to come out of her but where is Christ’s people? IN THE CHURCH!

It’s really messing with me because I don’t want to believe in eternal punishment, but how do you reconcile this definition? Is the strong concordance just a fabrication at this point lying about the real meaning of a word?

    1. Aionios doesn’t mean “age to age” it means age-lasting. Aionios is an adjective not a noun. Adjectives describe nouns. The noun in question here is “aion” and this word means an age or a period of time with a beginning and an end. So aionios can NEVER mean everlasting because an adjective can’t take on a different meaning from the noun it is derived from. Just as hourly pertains to hours and yearly pertains to years, aionios pertains to aions (age-lasting pertains to ages not eternities). Age to age is a phrase that speaks about a period of time that includes multiple ages in which God’s judgment will be in effect. It is also a phrase used to describe the reign of Christ although many bibles translate “αἰώνων καὶ αἰώνων” as for ever and ever. Christ doesn’t reign for ever and ever He reigns for ages of ages. Christ delivers the kingdom to God and He himself will be subject to the Father when God will be ALL in ALL (1 Corinthians 15:27-28). Dr. Strong’s definition of “aionios” is extremely bias. Let’s not forget that Dr. Strong was a man and everyone brings with them their own set of biases especially when it comes to religion. Dr. Strong had a Methodist background and then he went on to become a Methodist theologian. He was granted a Doctorate of Divinity from Wesleyan University in 1856 and then he later became a Professor of Exegetical Theology from Drew Theological Seminary 1868. We have to understand that Dr. Strong had a belief system taught to him by his parents and then from theological institutions. Do not get me wrong though, Dr. Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible is a MASTERPIECE! His work was certainly not in vain. It is extremely useful and helpful, we just need to be cautious in assuming that people in positions of power or influence can’t be wrong or misinformed. I wouldn’t go so far to suggest that he was lying I just think that his biblical bias prevailed in this case. A careful study of the word “aionios” will clearly show that it never means everlasting and I will prove it. Let’s take a look at the following scriptures;
      Romans 16:25-26 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith.
      Notice in verse 26, God is termed as the “everlasting God” while that could certainly be true and is, it is scripturally incoherent. I will explain later but I just want you to see that “aionios” is translated as everlasting in verse 26. Let’s look at the concordance just to be sure…

      You can clearly see that the English word everlasting is cross referenced with G166 which is Dr. Strong’s numerical code for the Greek word “aionios”. Now reread verse 25 and then we’ll look at the concordance for that verse.

      Did you notice it? Did you see that Strong’s G166 is left untranslated with the English word everlasting? Remember that in the very next verse they translated “aionios” as everlasting in reference to God. Well, why did they leave it untranslated? Because they knew that the revelation of the mystery of the preaching of Jesus Christ couldn’t have been an everlasting secret because it clearly says, “but now made manifest” and New Testament letters testify to the preaching of Jesus Christ. Now understand that Dr. Strong isn’t guilty of this hoax all he did was link English words to Hebrew and Greek words using his numbering system. However, he had to have discovered this lie that had been inserted into bibles by Christian bible translators but he was probably powerless to do anything about it during his time. The word “everlasting” is kind of a misnomer because existence has to do with time. Nothing is “everlasting” in this system, this world. God can certainly be considered “everlasting” but why? Is it because He has eternal life? No, God is “everlasting” because God cannot die. God is the very essence of life and His existence has nothing to do with time. In terms of man’s experience with God, the bible always speaks in terms of ages and generations. God is preeminent in all ages so God is the aionios God or the God of the ages. I hope this helps!

Keep in mind that there are people on the other side of the spectrum who fear the agenda of far right fascist ideology. I’m sure they worry about their children equally. Whatever happens understand that God allows it to happen. If he does that then it’s obviously a part of His ultimate plan. It’s okay to be concerned about your child and the state of political affairs that could effect you in one way or another but being overly concerned would seem to create unnecessary stress for anyone. God is in control regardless of how bad things get.

    2. There is no such thing as an unforgivable sin. There is NO passage in the entire bible that has the phrase “unforgivable sin”. The unpardonable sin is nothing more than another doctrine created by Christianity to provide justification to their evil heresy of an eternal hell. Matthew 12:31 is NOT the end of Jesus’ thought. We can know this because the next verse begins with AND… Jesus gives more details to his message of speaking evil against the Spirit of God;

      Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

      Matthew 12:32 AND whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, NEITHER IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME.

      If my son lies to me and I tell him that he will not play his XBOX this week or the next week after that, how absurd would it be for me to call his behavior an unforgivable lie? The consequence for lying is the two week time period and the implication is clear that playing the XBOX again will be restored after the two week consequence period ends. So in contrast with Matthew 12:32, this present world or age comes to an end at the second coming of Christ. The next age is the 1,000 year reign of the saints of God with Christ on EARTH in the spiritual kingdom of God. That age also comes to an end and the next age is the age of judgment. It is in this age of judgment when blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will be forgiven. FYI – just so you know, believing in the hell of Christianity is blasphemy of the Spirit of God but just like the Pharisees didn’t know they committed it, neither do Christians. With God, there is ALWAYS hope!

      2. It doesn’t say that specifically but it is understood by matter of deductive reasoning. If you put your child on punishment for 2 weeks it’s automatically understood that the punishment ends after the 2 weeks. My point in saying that there is no such thing as an unforgivable or unpardonable sin is because those words have been added to our understanding. They don’t exist in the scripture. There is a difference between “not” and “never”. The proper word in the Greek is “not”. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will “not” be forgiven in this age or the next. What is the punishment for blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? 2 ages. After the 2 ages have commenced blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will be forgiven.

    1. We know that all sins will ultimately be forgiven because Jesus died for the sins of humanity which includes blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ takes away the sins of the world. What is the consequence for sin? Death right? Well, if Christ takes away the sins of the world, what does that mean about death? It means that when all sin has been properly judged, there will be no need of death. Everyone will be made immortal just like our heavenly Father. What is the purpose of judgment? According to Christianity, the purpose of judgment is to torture or to cause eternal suffering. According to the scriptures, God’s judgments lead to the world learning righteousness;
      Isaiah 26:9 With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
      Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit will be forgiven in the age of judgement when the inhabitants of the world are learning to do that which is right. Learning is a process just like we learn things in this lifetime. It takes time. From 1 Corinthians 15, we learn that Christ puts an end to ALL rule and authority. Wouldn’t it be practical to surmise that blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is included in what Christ puts an end to? If a person is forever suffering the consequences of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit then Christ could never put an end to it. Christ eventually delivers the kingdom to God but this kingdom will be perfect. Christ is not going to deliver a kingdom up to God that still includes people that will blaspheme the Holy Spirit or people that have presumably been doomed eternally for having committed it. All things will be restored. Christ says, I make all things new! Well, when does Christ make all things new? It’s certainly not in this age or in the next age to come which is the age when the saints of God will reign with Christ for a millennia so it can’t be that age either as there will still be billions of people in the graves waiting to be judged in the second resurrection. Since people will be learning righteousness in the age of judgment (which is the age after this age and the age to come), it is plausible that Christ will make all things new during the age of judgment. It is at the completion of God’s corrective judgment that Christ will have made all things new! Then he will deliver a perfect spotless kingdom up to God resulting in God being ALL in ALL. God cannot be ALL in ALL if people are still being punished for blaspheming the Holy Spirit. It will be forgiven and people will learn not to do it again, ever. We won’t even be capable of sinning when all things are made new.

Your post has been approved and I have been thinking about your question but I may need you to elaborate on what you mean by teachings of submission. Are we not all held under the submission of Christ? When we are IN Christ, we are neither male of female;

        Galatians 3:27-28 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

        If we insist on bickering over trivial matters that pertain to the flesh how can we mature from a spiritual perspective? This is in no way meant to be ignorant of the fact that this teaching has been abused by religious men but there is no body that can stand without it’s head. When we understand the spiritual teaching of this message we can then move on from the physical into the spiritual. We are all in submission to someone in one way or another but true leadership include service. In God’s hierarchy of leadership, Paul indicates in 1 Corinthians 11:3 that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. There seems to be no issue with any of the heads except when we get to the head of a woman. This is not physical this is spiritual. If Christ is in submission to God and man is in submission to Christ, then what is the issue with man being the head of the woman? Is it because the woman wants to be the head of herself? Our example is set but the head above us. The man (husband) is to follow the example of submission to Christ as Christ submitted to God that Father. This teaching from Paul is not permission for husbands to treat their wives as “slaves”. Remember that true leadership includes servitude so the man (husband) is supposed to SERVE his wife! When a man humbles himself as Christ humbled Himself before God, the woman also humbles herself before her husband.

        Think of it like this…

        Imagine you are the CEO of a company you built and you hire people to work for your company. You have to decide who to put in leadership positions so lets assume that you have a COO, vice-president, and a department manager. The department manager is in submission to the vice-president because that is how the CEO established the hierarchy for the company. How successful do you think the company will be if the department manager is allowed to execute independent decision making that is outside of the authority of the vice-president? If the CEO gives a declaration to the COO and the COO passes the declaration down to the vice-president, the vice-president is then expected to pass the declaration down to the department manager. If there is a break in this chain of command the company will suffer from such discord.

        Submission is not inherently a bad thing but it can be abused. Children are in subjection to their parents and that is a good thing. In marriage the husband and wife are one but many marriages end because neither or both have grown spiritually past the flesh and entered into spiritual oneness. When a woman truly submits to her husband, she understands that her submission to her husband is an extension of his submission to Christ. Many marriages end because of spiritual decapitation but sometimes failure is necessary for our own growth. I myself am a survivor of such tribulation.

I have a couple of questions….what are your thoughts on the rosicrucians and I have come to understand that the serpent represents wisdom and was wondering when he is gotten rid of does that mean people will lose wisdom and become stupid slaves? Yes it is true that there is a lot of brutality spoken of in the Old Testament but much of it is in the context of war and God figuring out ways to prevent Israel from sinning or engaging in idol worship.

  25. What a very well thought out and passionate comment. I appreciate your honesty. I don’t know if there is much consultation that I can give you in regards to your father but I can tell you that your father’s stubbornness will not stand in the face of God’s judgments. The only thing that you can really do is just love your father. Be an extraordinary child in every way possible. Make your father proud and he will see that whatever is motivating you has to be authentic. Remember that we can only plant and water but God is the one that gives the increase. People take much pride in their religious convictions and trying to convince them to view something that is completely unorthodox from what they’ve been taught is virtually impossible. My conversion to universalism took years and I owe it to a very passionate disdain for the doctrine of hell. Like you, I could never rationalize or measure it’s purpose. We all can learn from punishment but punishment that never ends is not punishment it’s abuse. Many Christians fail to ask such pertinent questions because we are taught not to question God’s teachers but that sounds like a recipe for staying deceived. Humans fear pain because of the possibility of fatality. If a person can’t die then what can hurt them? The doctrine of hell is illogical insanity. Maybe you could share my article with your father about the false doctrine of hell? I suspect that he wouldn’t even entertain it. People confuse God’s foreknowledge with predestination with the underlying methodology being the belief that humans possess what is known as “free will”. God certainly knows who are called and He knows those who will answer the call. There are many reasons why people don’t answer the call and the parable of the sower answers that pretty well in my opinion. What Christianity leaves out is God’s corrective judgment that occurs post resurrection. There are many scriptures that Christians will simply refuse to answer for an example, I was debating with a man on YouTube about hell and he quoted Daniel 12:2. I asked him to explain Daniel 12:3 and all he did was deflect. I had to remind him that Daniel 12:3 was also part of the bible too so if we understand Daniel 12:3, there is something tragically wrong with Daniel 12:2. Most Christians do not care to do this as it is much easier to hold on to the traditions that they love anyway. One interesting point is that the apostles knew of and believed in universal reconciliation so what is taught in the church today is a product of religious corruption that can be traced back to the dark ages. Oh and btw, Calvinism is a disgusting theology. There are so many things wrong with Calvinism that I cannot believe people believe it.

  26. Breaking away from the church is difficult. The church is a very powerful institution and standing against it will only cause you ridicule. Christ already set this example for us so if He suffered, we who have been chosen to follow Him in the pursuit of the knowledge of truth must also suffer. We are not greater than Christ so we must be willing to accept whatever measure of suffering that the Creator has laid out for us but know that none of your suffering is in vain. I certainly do not have all the answers but I do feel confident enough to debate just about anyone. I have never read or heard of that book by Robert Peterson but his book is one of thousands of other Christian books written by Christian pastors and theologians to defend what it is that they already believe. There is an equal amount of resources that support the teachings regarding the salvation of all but it all depends on a persons individual motivation. If a person is motivated to seek answers to confirm what it is that they believe, that is what they will search and seek. When I debate Christians concerning the false theologies they believe, I hardly ever think that I could actually convert anyone because I know how strongly people feel about their belief systems. I do want I do because God has compelled me to do so but it takes time to gain knowledge. I’ve been where you are and it can be a lonely and very confusing road. I’d be interested in hearing about some of your father’s arguments if that’s not too much to ask.

    1. I’ve debated pastors before and I’ve never had a pastor denounce their beliefs about hell. I personally know of some pastors that know it is a lie but they continue to preach and teach it because that is the status quo. They care more about keeping their positions within the church community instead of standing for the truth. The story of Carlton Pearson is a perfect example of what happens to a Christian pastor that stirs away from Christian orthodoxy. If you have heard of him do a quick Google search about him but he basically came to terms with the belief in universal reconciliation and he has since been deemed a “heretic” by the church. I guess I was blessed to not have such a high calling in the church because I can’t even imagine the responsibility that a pastor holds in terms of being a shepherd over Christian congregations. In regards to your father’s argument about God using fire to destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah is a common argument in Christian thought especially when defending the idea that God does in fact punish. I agree with that sentiment for any father that doesn’t punish his own children is no father at all or at the least, he would be a bad father. Punishment is about correction but a person cannot learn from punishment that never ends. We can be assured that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah are not continually being burned as Christianity suggests. God judges sin but judgment is temporary. There is nothing a person can gain from punishment or judgment that never ends. In Jude 1:7, we read from most popular bible translations that the people of Sodom and Gomorrah are suffering the vengeance of eternal fire but is this fire really eternal? Christians have argued about the proper definition for the Greek word “aionios” for years but it really isn’t has hard as they try to make it seem. The Greek word “aionios” is an adjective and we know that adjectives describe nouns so “aionious” is derived from its root noun “aion”. The Greek word “aion” is defined and used in scripture as an age. An adjective cannot take on a different meaning from the noun it is derived from so just as hourly pertains to hours and yearly pertains to years, aionios pertains to aions thus making the proper definition for aionios to be “age-abiding” or pertaining to the ages (plural). An age can be a year, 10 years, a lifetime, or even a millennia, but it most certainly isn’t eternal. The word “eternal” was borrowed from the Latin language not the original Hebrew or Greek and since Latin proceeded English, English bibles continued in the Latin tradition of translating “aionios” as everlasting or eternal. I had one Christian pastor tell me that there was a such thing as an eternal age and I told him that that made as much sense as a eternal minute. A minute is a minute because we have decided that 60 seconds equals a minute. Once you surpass a minute, you begin another minute. I’m going to show you what the original translators of English bibles did to cover up their lie. They connected “aionios” to “chronos” because they had no other way to hide their lie. Instead of agreeing that “aionios” simply cannot mean eternal or everlasting, they lied so that they could keep this word in their bibles.

      Look at the Greek Textus Receptus of Romans 16:25 and see how they linked every Greek word with it’s corresponding English translation: https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rom/16/25/p0/t_conc_1062025

      Notice at the end of the scripture, you will see that the Greek word “aionios” is found in the original Greek manuscript but they left it UNTRANSLATED! Why? Because they knew that the revelation of the mystery of Jesus Christ couldn’t be an eternal or everlasting secret because Jesus Christ has been revealed. That is confirmed in the very next verse;

      Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the “everlasting” God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

      Notice that they had no problem translating “aionios” as everlasting in Romans 16:26 but they left it out of Romans 16:25 because it clearly would contradict that scripture. That is why they tried to link it to the Greek word “chronos” which means time and they left it untranslated. Now what kind of biblical scholarship is that? In defense of this, I’ve had people bring up the fact that God is indeed “everlasting” and He is but the problem here is that everlasting is not a biblical word. Sure, we can say that God is everlasting and there is no consequence there but to change the meaning of a word when it has a connection to punishment, there are grave consequences there. The proper Greek for the “aionios God” is the God of the Ages or the Eonian God. This is basically telling us that God is God is all ages. He is God in every age that man has had an experience. Of course God was still God before He created the ages but that’s irrelevent because man hadn’t been created yet. God is the Eonian God over the creation of mankind for man lives and man dies but God doesn’t. God lives and God remains alive and although man dies, God doesn’t and He remains the God of the past ages, the present ages, and the ages to come. What I want you to understand is that God does punish and God does destroy. Jesus Christ Himself was destroyed;

      Matthew 12:14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

      The word “destroy” was translated from the Greek word “apollymi” and it used primarily as the word “perish”. To be “apollymi” means to be destroyed or to perish which is essentially pointing to death. Jesus Christ died but God raised Him from the dead. The point is that what God destroys God can also restore so prepare yourself for a revelation!

      Judgment on Jerusalem’s Prostitution

      Ezekiel 16:35-58 (New Living Translation)
      “Therefore, you prostitute, listen to this message from the Lord!     The doctrine of hell began from pagan ideas regarding belief in an afterlife. These mythologies spread throughout Roman and Greek cultures with Europe going on conquests for world dominance. Over the centuries, Christians inspired by fictitious works such as Dante’s Divine Comedy borrowed these ideas of literal fire being a means of punishment and it became a powerful tool for control. St. Augustine is accredited for being the person responsible for dragging hell into the Catholic faith and it spread throughout Christianity even more so and eventually into Protestant Christianity. The Apostle Paul being the most dominant Christian source of teaching in the New Testament NEVER mentioned hell in any context for a place of punishment for the wicked. I’ll have to do some research to pull out some names of early church fathers that believed in the “apocatastasis” or restoration of all things but there is quite a bit of information about this doctrine on the internet. Modern Christians motivated by keeping their creeds in tact are working around the clock to change the meaning or context of “apocatastasis” to not refer to all of humanity. Studying the “apocatastasis” will certainly help you in understanding the origins of universal reconciliation.

    1. Religion is a unbalanced mix of doctrines and traditions but most people cannot discern the difference. Tradition has seemingly become much more powerful than most religious doctrines. I chuckled at the one comment where you write about your Father’s comment saying that he pointed out that if hell didn’t exist then everyone would end up in the same place… We are already in the same place right here on earth. 😂

Since we leave in such times I think it would be great if you could share with your readers what Scriptures say about End Days and mark of the beast. Book of Revelations is a confusing one and full of symbolism, very hard to understand for those with less of spiritual wisdom. Maybe you could write a paper on it? I read works of late L. Ray Smith but couldn’t find much on mark of the beast. Thank you in advance. May God bless you and your family.

    1. I haven’t actually crafted this idea but I’ve danced around the idea of the mark of the beast as being the belief in free will. While most would think that the mark would be visible to the eye I think the scriptures support a mark that is actually invisible and not seen. It is belief that draws us to God so I theorize that maybe the mark could be a belief system that is anti-God. The belief in free will is the only belief system that essentially puts man in the place of God at least coming from a scriptural perspective.

  29. Just wanted to thank you for this platform. I had a hard time as a Christian because of all my questions. Deep down I always thought that I didn’t add up! So thank you for educating and helping us in this journey. So I have a couple questions (like everyone)
    What about the whole ‘conspiracy’ I hope you know what I’m saying about new word order/bill gates/Clinton’s/bush/9-11 I did research and a lot just doesn’t add up. Way in the world would you have those kinds of people organisations if god will save us all??
    Or the mind controlling messages they put in videos, sex everywhere and the gay agenda that they are pushing down my throat. I don’t understand what they would want to do.
    So hear me out. Is it possible that men want to become god (you already confirmed this). But with the creation of AI men wants to have powers like god. Because if AI controls the world it’s hard to believe there would be a god because we are being controlled in our mind by this other thing.
    Is it possible that Jesus will save the world, in a spiritual way. But the people who are living in a simulated world are gonna have a hard time. Like they have to go to so much more to get to Jesus?
    Am I just way of or?
    I don’t know. Please if you have time I would like to hear your view

    1. The “god” that we all aspire to be is within ourselves. I don’t know too much about any conspiracy but I don’t pay too much attention to stuff like that. It’s too much to untangle and in the end it probably isn’t even worth it. The most important thing to take in is that we are not alone. God has a plan for all of us and our short lives in this age is only a preview. I wouldn’t worry too much about things outside of your control because there’s not much we can do about anyway but stress and who needs anymore of that? Whatever is happening, it is happening because God allows it to happen. Nothing happens outside of what God ordains or has given His creation the power to do.

    I want to thank you a lot!! The information with references you gave was overwhelming at first, but I’m slowly getting there. There is one thing I want to ask. Although I agree with a lot you say. I recently got an invitation to visit a church. seemed like a blessing because the last time I went was about 5 years ago. But is it okay to go? maybe they talk about hell and whatsoever, but I feel like. I’m reading the bible, but when I talk about Jesus with other people and listen to others talking about Jesus I learn so much more. I have a few people with whom I talk about Jesus sometimes. But I feel like I could learn a lot more if I went to the church (again). So I’m not asking you (or anyone who feels like replying) for permission to go, but I’m asking about your opinion about this.

    How do you evolve in your relationship with Jesus?

    How do you talk to people (fellowship) with people with other opinions with regards to, like hell?

Hello again Mark I hope all is well… Your question is a question that many have asked in regards to what “believers” (that is, those who’ve come to have understanding that is contrary to orthodox Christianity) are supposed to do for fellowship and communion with like minded people? It’s a rather loaded question but I can only share with you what I believe and what has been my experience. Unfortunately, it can be a very lonely experience but this isn’t something that our Lord is unfamiliar with. We will always face seasons in which we will be or feel alone. Jesus himself was abandoned by his own disciples and he said, “foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” Following Christ is not an easy walk especially when one is trying to follow the Jesus that Christianity doesn’t even believe in. I myself do not go to any Christian church because I believe it to be counterproductive. Christianity is not God’s church. Christianity has grown into a very large institution and Christianity as an institution of men focuses more on their own dogmas and traditions. The “church” is likened as a woman or the “bride of Christ” but what is a woman that is unfaithful to her husband? She is a harlot. Christianity believes that they are the church of Christ. The word “church” itself literally means, a calling out but a calling out from where? Where are God’s people? In the church right?

      Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.

      Jesus is commanding his people to COME OUT OF HER! Christianity is the harlot spoken of by John in the book of Revelation;

      Revelation 17:1-2 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”

      The waters represent the people and all the nations of the earth. What religion has been spread all over the world for the last 2 millennia? Christianity and Christianity has spilled more blood than any other of the worlds religions combined all in the name of God. Christianity has committed fornication with the kings of the earth (doctrines of men) instead of being one in matrimony with the words of God.

      Church has nothing to do with attending a building and all the activities that go on within churches all over the world. There is nothing wrong with meeting in an assembly with other believers but I cannot fellowship with people that believe in damnable heresies that are contrary and contradictory to the word of God. Believers are the church and while it is beneficial to fellowship with other believes I think it isn’t wise to fellowship with people who do not walk in the same path as you. This is a very difficult thing to embrace and not everyone is ready for it. I didn’t branch away from the church immediately but the more I learned about the church and the false doctrines that they promote, one day I realized that I just couldn’t do it anymore. At that point it was much easier for me to walk away because my convictions were strong. I spend a lot of time communicating with people online through YouTube and on this blog defending the truth and sharing the wisdom that has been given to me. As far as fellowship goes, I am among a very small minority and I’ve come to accept that for what it is. When God decides to open a door to increase my fellowship then I will walk through but until then, I will continue to do what I do which is what God has placed on my heart.

      You can find a lot of groups on Facebook that you can join for people that believe in universal salvation or that have questions about it. I hope this helps and thanks for commenting…

        Your answer helped a lot. I think it’s because of the different season I’m in. Sometimes everything just works and falls into place and sometimes they don’t. (don’t know the verse) but Jesus said that the actions of God are strengthened in times that you are weak. I’m doing much better just reading to scriptures and applying scriptures to my day-to-day life. I think that’s the most fun. Haha, when I get bored of reading the bible and just ask myself what would Jesus do and do something good for my health or someone else. Anyways, Thanks for the quick response.

        Couple more questions while I’m at it.

        So I believe satan was made by God to deceive the world. For us to be like god, we have to know what good is and evil. Because without evil there is no good. So I’m sometimes buried in bills and otherworldly things. But it calms me if I just think that these earthly things are just things that try yo shaken my faith (I’m not saying if I stub my toe I say its the devil), I’m just saying that if I reflect on times were it got rough. I know that I was focussing on my problems more than on Jesus, and I’m starting to focus on Jesus during crisis and boy… the best thing you could ever do. So, that being said. Everyone will face judgement. and Jesus will save(saved) everyone. But do ‘real’ believers, perceive hell, that is the perceived false toxic world of satan, now and despite it remain faithful to get. Will these people be the first one to be woken of their sleep in judgement? and the people we just don’t believe will face harder judgement? an easy comparison will the real believers be the first pick and the idk 6th?

      2. Believers go through their judgment in this life/age and those who overcome will participate in the first resurrection to age-abiding life. The rest of the world will remain dead in the grave awaiting the resurrection to judgment. During this judgment, God will cause the world to go through whatever corrective judgment that is necessary for them to repent and to learn to be righteous. There will be varying degrees of judgment based on how a person lived their life and what is needed for them to change. The bible likens the salvation of all to a harvest. God picks out his first-fruits and then at the end of the year, there is a grand festival were everyone is invited.

    Many are called, but few are chosen Matthew 22:14. This verse comes at the end of a parable about a wedding feast. The day of the feast (celebration) for His Son’s (Jesus) wedding, to Christ’s church, is symbolized further by describing the guests (us). Many were invited (Jews), but they did “not” come for lack of interest. So the Father (God) invited other guests (gentiles) to the wedding feast. Many of them “do” come & the feast begins. The guests all have wedding garments on, a special covering symbolizing the blood of Jesus. Then surprisingly, one man has no special covering on. Because he does not have the special covering, he does not “belong” there, & is sent away. 
Because God knew from the beginning, who would & would’t respond (chosen), on His side, doesn’t mean we didn’t choose Him, on our side with free will, because we don’t have that foreknowledge.
    Your false argument that God is scared to violate our free will, should state God cannot violate our free will. Why? Because the moment He does, it is no longer free will.
    Finally, another false argument is used with the analogy of a parent kicking out a child because of disobedience. This is incorrect because we are NOT all children of God. The children of God are the ones with the blood of Christ covering their sins. The ones without the blood of Christ covering them are “not” God’s children. So who or what, determines who are God’s children & who are “not?” God’s children are the ones who “chose” to put on the wedding garment of Christ’s covering. They are the ones who heard the call & responded. The ones who are not there are the ones that never responded. Parents don’t throw their own children out, but they make other’s children go back to their own house, with “their” parents.

    I don’t know if you are just deceived or doing the deceiving, but you are deceiving, nevertheless. You now know why all that you say, is unGodly, but not only that, it is a straight attack on God.
    Then you tell another falsehood. You say you have to be with someone first to be separated. That is a lie. You & I are separated, now, & we have never been together.
Then you correctly say, God doesn’t send anyone to hell. He certainly doesn’t, people go because that is what they “chose.”
    You say, “the devil uses deception as his primary tactic to influence the world and he uses the ministers of Christianity to continue deceiving the world.” Yes, you just described yourself. And because you willingly teach deception, it means you are a liar, & the “truth” (Jesus), is NOT in you. That means God is not in us all, & will never be. He inhabits those who invite Him in. Those who do not answer the door or open it & do Not invite Him in, will “not” be inhabited by Him. God cannot inhabit sin.
    Stop teaching these lies. You are promoting & perpetuating evil. You are playing with fire, & you better repent & take these lies down or you will regret it.

    2. Shane, I appreciate your criticisms because it is comments like yours that keep me fresh when trying to defend God’s truths against the heresies of Christianity. I understand that Frank might be a personal hero to you but to me he is nothing more than a member of Christianity’s deceived clergy. Since you obviously endorse his ideology, it is no surprise to me that you have filled your comment with nothing but a series of repetitive arguments for which I have already destroyed. It has been awhile since I’ve had to respond to someone as misinformed as you so I’ll take this delight to elaborate on my earlier posting regarding Frank Turek’s abysmal explanation for why he believes God sends people to some pagan hell.
      In your first sentence, you claim that I’ve completely missed the point, use false arguments, and twist Mr. Turek’s words but you failed to justify any of those criticisms. You said that I contradicted myself in my first paragraph but you failed to actually state what you believe was a contradiction. The only thing you did was accuse me of attacking the word eternity when eternity is not even a scriptural word. There is NO word in the original Hebrew or Greek that meant eternity and any honest scholarship would easily prove that. Christian bible translators changed the Hebrew olam and the Greek aionios to the Latin eternus for which we get the English eternity and they did that so that they could scare the hell out of their religious slaves by threatening them with “eternal punishment”. As I stated before in my original posting, there is no such place as eternity. You state and I will quote you in saying, “it doesn’t change the fact, that after death, we can “only” be with or without Him”. I noticed that you didn’t burden yourself by quoting any scripture to back up what you believe to be an unchangeable fact of logic then you criticize me for providing zero evidence. Do you even know what a contradiction is? You exalt the word of Frank Turek over the word of God because “outside of time” is a phrase he uses it is not scripture. The bible says that the dead know nothing and after death, the body returns to the dust of the ground and the spirit returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 9:5, Ecclesiastes 12:7). What I have learned and you confirm this theory is that Christians do not care about what God says when it comes to Christians protecting their own little precious dogmas. The bible clearly teaches that people die and they stay dead until the resurrection. You said, “There can be no other place, than with or without Him (outside of time)” but Shane, WHERE WERE YOU BEFORE YOU WERE BORN? Were you with God? There is a place that people go when they did that is “outside of time” and that place was called Sheol in Hebrew and Hades in the Greek. Your Christian forefathers changed both of those words to the English word hell and by doing so; they committed one of the biggest spiritual frauds in human history. When a person dies, they go back to the same place they were before they were born. It is the place of being nonexistent because nobody existed before they were born. The scriptures actually further contradict you because in Psalm 139:8, David says that if he made his bed in hell (Sheol), GOD IS THERE! God is in hell? Now I know you can’t accept that scripture for what it says because it contradicts what you’ve stated but I’m sure you have a secret interpretation that changes that scripture to mean something other than what it says.

There are many people who do not endorse the totally bogus idea that people can make uncaused choices.       I quoted Romans 3:11 because your idol Frank Turek stated in his video that if a person wants to be with God, they will seek Him out and be with Him. The point was that a carnal man doesn’t seek after God because he can’t. God does have to draw them but I like how you added your own little commentary when you seriously don’t have a clue what you are talking about. The word “draw” comes from the Greek word “helkō” and it literally means to DRAG! This word is used in other scriptures and it clearly means to drag or be dragged (Act 16:19, Act 21:30, James 2:6).

      Is that evidence enough for you? Do you think that being forced to do something always has to have a negative connotation? Are you forced to go to work? Jesus says in John 12:32 that He will DRAG all men to Himself if He is lifted up from the earth (speaking of his death). A lot of people choose Christianity as a substitute for God but I’m sorry your religion is not God. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord but is this by force or will everyone volunteer in love to do those things? You must not have children if you don’t think a parent can force their child to do something against their will. Children don’t always know what’s best for them and sometimes we don’t always know what’s best for us. I don’t really have to physically force my children to do anything they do it out of love and respect. What you are suggesting is that the will of man is more powerful than the will of God. Scripture tells us that Christ will put ALL His enemies under His feet. Do you think a person can choose not to submit to the authority of Christ when Christ has been given ALL authority in heaven and in earth by His Father the Creator of the Universe? The problem with your theology is that you want to take credit for your salvation. You think that you are special because you chose God and God is going to reward you with an eternal residence in some fantasy kingdom called “heaven” so you can laugh and scoff at all the idiots in hell for refusing to do what you did.

I think there is a lot of confusion about the meaning of the word aion because we have learned from being indoctrinated that believers are rewarded with eternal life and unbelievers are punished in hell for all eternity. Neither is true. In the resurrection believers are made immortal so eternal life is kind of a misnomer. They are rewarded with an additional age of life that the rest of the world doesn’t participate in. After that aion/age is over, the rest of the world will rise in the second resurrection to aionic judgment that is corrective not punitive. Those that were resurrected in the first resurrection remain alive because they were made immortal. I disagree that the Greek word aidios means eternity. It is literally a conjunction with “a” as the negative prefix. This same word is found in Romans 1:20 in contrast to what is seen. God’s power is not seen or understood because it’s invisible but we know it exists because of what we can see the things that God made. The most accurate definition for aidios is imperceptible. The chains of Jude 1:6 are unseen imperceptible chains not everlasting chains. There is serious question about the word “angel” because it literally just means a messenger but we naturally assume due religious tradition that an angel has to be a spiritual being but that isn’t always true. John the Baptist was an angel/messenger because it’s the same Greek word aggelos. Whoever these “angels” are, they are reserved until the day of judgment so the chains can’t be everlasting.

    1. It’s a bit more to it than just believing that Jesus died on the cross. According to Christianity, you have to believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal Savior. I must confess that I don’t actually know what that really means but it’s simple enough for the average Christian to accept. The problem with Christianity’s belief is that they don’t even believe that Jesus Christ actually died. Christians do not even believe that death is really death. They believe that we are eternal beings with an immortal soul and that immortal soul lives inside of a mortal body that can die. They believe that while Jesus was supposed to be dead and dying for the sins of the world, His immortal spirit was actually in some netherworld literally preaching to dead spirits all at the same time being in some place called “paradise” with the thief on the cross. Believing that Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world and that God raised Him from the dead is the beginning of being a believer and that leads to salvation. If we refuse to believe that Christ actually died in the first place by replacing scripture with some false religious dogma then I would say that many who profess to be believers aren’t really believers at all they are just simply religious. Many people are religious based on their cultural norms and they do what is culturally acceptable out of ignorance. Many are called but few are chosen. The few who are chosen must go through judgment in this life and then they must overcome as Christ overcame. There is nothing anyone can do to choose to be in the first resurrection. If God has chosen you, God will cause all of the necessary judgments that will cause you to repent and walk in the ways according to His will. Being a believer is like a child growing up and maturing into an adult. There is no quick fix. God grants us the faith to believe and we bear fruit as we walk with God. God causes us to go through storms, trials, and tribulations and this is for the purpose of building spiritual character. We don’t always do what God wants us to do just as children do not always do what their parents asked them to do so they must suffer consequences. No righteous parent punishes their child without a corrective goal in mind and it’s no different with God. God chastises who He loves because He wants His children to learn and to grow. Tammuz is the “666” in the book of revelation, and yes Christ only came back for the Israelites (Matthew 15:24). Just wanted to comment that just to give you some understanding but I agree that the lake of fire is symbolic.

If a person ends up going through the Lake of Fire then that is confirmation that they were never baptized, or repented, or followed the laws of God. The Lake of Fire is reserved for those that are not baptized into the Spirit of God, those who have not yet repented, and those that do not follow the laws of God. When a person goes through the Lake of Fire judgment, they will come out baptized, they will turn from sin, and they will follow the laws of God.

    I have some questions.
    1. Do “Psalm 37:10 Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more” and “Malachi 4:3 You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,” Says the LORD of hosts.” imply that all wicked people will be destroyed and no longer exist? Or does it imply that all wicked people will no longer be wicked because they have been saved through God’s purifying judgment, and therefore the wicked are no longer the wicked since they have been saved and have repented but they obviously still exist? I have heard people teach that Hell is actually a temporary event in which God brings fire down from Heaven onto the Earth to destroy everything in it, but it only burns for a limited amount of time, and those who are resurrected during the second judgment are literally cast into this fire not to be eternally tormented but to be permanently destroyed. Malachi 4:1 says ““For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.” That is what they use to defend this belief that Hell is a temporary and literal fire that destroys the wicked. Can you please fully explain why these three passages from the Bible do not indicate that the wicked are permanently destroyed in hellfire? If all the wicked will be stubble, how will they still exist and be saved?
    2. During the second resurrection, will God’s judgment include punishments like being whipped with many lashes or being locked in a prison cell? Will His chastisement be physically painful and dreadful?
    3. Does the fact that I have free will mean absolutely nothing happens by coincidence, and there is absolutely no way I could have done anything differently in my life? For example, was it absolutely inevitable and predestined that I would have a head injury in the summer of 2013? Is it true that my head injury could not have been prevented because it was not my free will that caused it in the first place?
    I find your writings fascinating. I do believe that everything you are saying is true, but I still do not entirely understand the answers to my above three questions. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with the world and creating this website. I truly appreciate it!

    1. Hi Adrein I hope all is well. I’d be happy to answer your questions.

      1) There will be a time when the wicked populations will suffer destruction but it won’t be for all eternity. The wicked face destruction before they face judgment and it is not until they face God’s judgment that they will learn righteousness. The two scriptures you quoted are words of encouragement for the righteous that still live in a wicked world and it sometimes appears that the wicked go unpunished but God promises vindication for the righteous. I’ve heard annihilationist teach similar ideas about hell but their doctrine while much more gracious than the fundamental Christian view of hell still robs God of His due glory. This same fire is used to describe the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and while they are still in the state of being destroyed, God will return them to their former estate (Ezekiel 16:55). There is nothing in the word of God that says anything about the wicked being destroyed permanently or for all eternity. Those are doctrines of men and it’s clear that this population of people will rise in the second resurrection to judgment. It makes no sense for God to resurrect someone from the dead just to send them back to the same
      2) I seriously doubt people will be getting whipped like slaves and while the bible does use this language, I believe it to be metaphorical. Physical pain is certainly a motivator but I think that is the worst way to inspire healthy growth. Judgment is certainly not going to be fun but the scriptures describe such a process (being exposed to the fire) as suffering loss. God’s intent is not to cause pain but rather to cause change. With that said, pain can be useful in learning. You will never have to tell a child not to touch a hot stove after they got burned… NEVER!

      3) There is absolutely no way you or anyone could’ve done anything different in their lives because we always choose whatever is the strongest motivator in our hearts at the time we make our choices proving that nobody has free will. We have a will but it is not free because we all have to deal with internal and extreme drivers that influence our every day choices. Your head injury in 2013 was not predestined or inevitable, it was just a serious of prior events that led up to the injury. We can only exist in the reality that we chart every second of every day. There are no alternative realities or versions. I don’t know the details of your head injury but not everything is determined. Sometimes bad things just happen. If I get out of bed and stub my baby toe I can assure you that God is not determining every single mundane little detail about everyone’s life because God has given power to His creation. The irony is that we don’t need God to cause bad things for us we do a good job of that on our own.

    1. Will the wicked populations suffer destruction by being slowly and torturously killed in a blazing fire? How will the wicked be destroyed? Do you simply mean by death that can be caused by many different things in this life? I have heard that the wicked who remain alive at the second coming of Jesus Christ will be instantly or almost instantly destroyed by the brightness of Jesus Christ’s appearance, and the rest are previously destroyed by death in this life on this Earth (as in, brain death faced on this Earth). Can you assure me God does not plan to literally cast me into an unimaginably horrible lake of fire hotter than any fire ever created on this Earth to be slowly and torturously destroyed (even though not permanently destroyed) with billions of other screaming people before Judgment Day? I would hope such an awful fate does not await anyone. I want to know that being torturously in fire is not some kind of reality all wicked people face.
    2. Although I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, I still struggle with lust, masturbation, and pornography. I try very hard not to give in to these temptations, but today I gave in again by watching pornography and masturbating. I have unfortunately given into my lust a number of times since I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. It has not been easy for me to totally abandon my lust even though I truly want to do so. Will judgment be much, much worse for me because I gave into it by watching pornography and masturbating again today? I understand that judgment will not be fun, but I am trying to understand exactly how severe it is. Would you say there is any chance that I will suffer literally unbearable torment because of my struggles with lust? I do look forward to judgment because I look forward to the day I finally feel no more desire to sin ever again and have been made totally righteous, but I am trying to get some idea of what it will be like. You say it probably would not involve getting whipped like slaves, but you admit that pain (I assume you mean physical pain) can be useful in learning. I understand that judgment will likely be a very distressing experience, but will it at least be something I will be able to bear? Will it be something unimaginably horrible and dreadful? Or will it be quite distressing and unpleasant but not unimaginably horrible and unbearable?

If every choice has a cause, then the very first choice anyone ever made has only one possible ultimate cause – God. You agree that it was impossible for Adam and Eve not to have avoided sin because sin is part of God’s grand plan. An indestructible, unchangeable grand plan which ensures every child of God will be saved must consist of predetermined events. God knows the past, present, and future. If God knows the future, and there are no alternative realities or versions, the future is predetermined by God and is the only future that is possible. How else could God know the future if He did not create and predestine the only possible future that exists (considering there are no alternative realities or versions)? I know I made this long, but I am trying to make my point as clear as possible. If you can refute my point, please do so. I want to know only the truth.
    4. You have stated on your website that Heaven is not a literal place but rather exists within us as a spiritual kingdom. If this is the case, what happens after judgment when all children of God are granted immortality? I have been taught that after Judgment Day is over, we will live in a physical city called New Jerusalem. Bible Gateway Revelation 21 :: NIV. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. Is it true that all of God’s children will live on the new Earth in New Jerusalem after judgment? If not, please explain to the best of your ability what will happen to us after Judgment Day. Will we live on the New Earth in glorified, immortal, and heavenly bodies? Will we even have glorified, immortal, and heavenly bodies? Will we be immortal spirits with no physical bodies instead? Will I be able to see and interact with my resurrected friends and family throughout eternity after Judgment Day? Will I still be able to recognize my friends and family by their voices and physical appearances after Judgment Day? Please explain the difference between the new Earth and the new Heaven, and where we will go after Judgment Day. Does God actually live in the new Heaven and sit upon an observable, physical throne there? I have been told in Heaven we will worship at God’s physical, visible throne there together regularly throughout eternity.
    5. Will Satan and demons/fallen angels be saved in the end? Will God eternally annihilate Satan and all demons/fallen angels? I know that sin and death will be eternally annihilated, but will Satan and all demons/fallen angels be able to learn righteousness through extensive and extremely severe judgments in the Lake of Fire?

    1. 1) No, it is impossible to be slowly and torturously killed in fire. As awful as burning to death would be, it would take virtually minutes for a person to succumb to such a fate. There are certainly ways to prolong a person’s suffering by fire but God is not intent on making people “suffer” without gain. Not only is a literal hell or lake of fire for the purposes of eternal torture impossible, it is illogical and unscientific. Pain is associated with mortality not immortality. If a person can be hurt (suffer damage) then they aren’t immortal. God would never give immortality to His creation just do He can torture it for all eternity. That is evil and it is absurd. God uses fire symbolically to burn out the dross in our lives similar to how fire is used to clean and purify gold.
      Yes, in the Greek, the bible uses one word to describe being lost, destroyed, and to perish and that word is “apollymi”. It simply means to suffer death. Christ suffered apollymi when He died on the cross… He was destroyed. The wicked will ultimately suffer age-lasing destruction which is in the first resurrection that they do not participate in. They remain in the grave until the second resurrection. (Keep in mind though that the righteous also perish and go through judgment).
      Yes, that would be a reference to these scriptures;
      2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
      The proper translation should read – age-lasting destruction not everlasting destruction because there is no word in the entire bible that means eternal or everlasting. The wicked are destroyed because there is nothing carnal or sinful that will be able to stand or survive in this presence of Christ’s glory. Those who are resurrected will be raised immortal and glorified while those who are alive at the second coming of Christ will be transformed instantaneously.
      Yes, I can assure you that God would never do anything so terrible that would make Him far worse than all of the Earth’s worse villains combined and multiplied by a quintillion. It is unfathomable that Christians think this type of theology is of God. It is sick, barbaric, and grossly evil.

      2) Every single human being that has ever lived has struggled with lust and men in particular struggle with the things you have suggested. Remember that giving your life to Christ according to the traditions of Christianity essentially means nothing because it is simply a religious ritual they teach people to perform in order to join the club. I’m not saying you aren’t a Christian I’m just saying that I would be cautious in using that language. We don’t choose God, God chooses us! There is nothing you can do to overcome the sins in your life with your own carnal power. You will fall every time. It takes godly intervention for anyone to die to the lusts and sins of their life. God never promised that any of this would be easy and He knows exactly what you are struggling with. Your judgement will be exactly what it needs to be for you to turn from it in God’s timing. Your suffering with lust is a part of your judgment because you don’t fully enjoy it. Your flesh enjoys it, but the spiritual man that God has activated inside of you despises it so there is a war going on inside of you. Be thankful to God that the war exists because before God we all sinned in full measure without ever thinking about whether it was wrong or ungodly. In all of your weaknesses, faults, and shortcomings always remember that you have a redeemer. You have a savior that died on the cross for all of your sins. You cannot out sin God’s grace but overcoming sin is a process. You sin because you were made flesh but who made you? This is all of God. Read Romans 8:20. We don’t have permission to sin nor does God give us a free pass to sin, but God understands and you are not doing something contrary to what God foreknew. I don’t think that there is any way that I can accurately portray what your total judgment will look like or anyone’s judgement for that matter but I think that the best examples are things that we see in this life. Are you a parent? If not let’s assume you are. If your son gets hooked on drugs what will you do? Will you kick him out of your house or will you try to get him some help? Would you destroy him or would you try to save him? It might be hard for you to send him to residential drug treatment but you are looking out for his future and well-being. As a parent, we sometimes have to make hard decisions that can cause our children pain and suffering but the decision is made out of love. God is no different and I could easily argue that God is far more gracious than we could ever be. Your suffering will not be more than you can bear and remember that on the other side of judgement is glory. The most meaningful lessons that we learn in life come from the things that hurt us the most.

      3) The second resurrection will not just include wicked people but it will also include people who just do not believe, people that have never even heard of Jesus Christ (think of the people that grew up in Eastern cultures), babies (included aborted babies), special needs and mentally disabled people, the religiously deceived, and all of the people that succumbed to the cares/evils of this world. In a nutshell, the people that rise in the last resurrection will basically be the majority of all the populations of the Earth in the entire history of humanity. Remember that God is the Master Potter and He makes vessels of honor and vessels of dishonor.
      Okay, the subject of free will and predestination can get very complicated so I will try my best to explain my views on this subject. In regards to your head injury, I don’t think inevitable is the right word to use. It didn’t have to happen but it happened because of all the prior events that led up to it happening happened and there is no way to undo what has already happened. It was just an unfortunate event that’s not unlike other unfortunate events that people experience in this life. Car accidents, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, natural disasters, diseases, are just a few of the unfortunate situations that we have to deal with in life but I don’t believe that God is ordaining hurricanes to kill hundreds of thousands of people. Hurricanes are a natural cause of nature. If God has predestined everything, then there is nothing man can do to change what God has predestined but we have tons of examples in which man has improved our existence due to science, research, and technology. Just because God allows man to operate with a certain level of power doesn’t mean that God has predestined it. I am not saying that God doesn’t predestine but God allows His creation to operate with some measure of independence within the rules, laws, and boundaries that He has set. In regards to your head injury, I’m saying that something different could’ve happened that you might not even realize. Something circumstantial could’ve been different but I’m merely speculating there because I don’t know what actually happened to you. If we assume that your head injury was predetermined, then we are suggesting that God oversees, authorizes, and approves of every accident, tragedy, and evil act that has ever occurred in the world. I don’t believe that is true. Do you believe that God has predestined man to rape little girls? I don’t and let me explain why… God is the ultimate cause of everything because nothing came into existence before God created it but God doesn’t cause nor has He predestined men to rape little girls. Men do such despicable acts because they are drawn away from their own evil lusts in their hearts.
      I understand that the subject of predestination is difficult to understand but there are things that God predestines and then there are things that God allows the natural order of His creation to take its natural course. God is not predestining what you eat for breakfast, or if you decide to take a nap, or if you decide to clip your toenails. These are just some of the mundane tasks that we partake in on a daily basis and I don’t believe that God is pulling the strings for such things. Causality doesn’t require predestination. If I choose to be a cop, there was something that motivated me to become a cop and I don’t believe that it is necessary for God to predestine that I become a cop. God allows us to live our lives, to be creative, and to be inspired by whatever moves us. There are millions of possible outcomes to a choice, but you and I both will only choose the choice that is best aligned with our knowledge and experience. It is impossible for humans to have free will and for God to be sovereign. The bible says that God operates all things after the counsel of His own will so this scripture tells us that God follows rules (counsel – law). These are laws that He has set for Himself as a perfect demonstration of self-government. The concept of free will is lawlessness because it suggests that a person can make a choice dependent of nothing, free from influence, and outside of the will of God. These are impossibilities because nothing can operate outside of the will of God unless God allows it. The reason why this topic is so difficult for people to understand is because people have added free will as a talking point. Free will is an illusion because you cannot make a choice without data and a way to process the data to determine what would be the most intelligent or desirable experience. Yes, God is the ultimate cause of everything because everything began with God so everything will return to God. God’s foreknowledge doesn’t mean He has predestined the future. If a person gets lung cancer 10 years from now God knows that this will happen but that doesn’t mean that God has predestined that person to get lung cancer. It could be the result of that person being a smoker for the last 30 years of their life which ultimately resulted in them getting lung cancer. We are the product of our choices and experiences. If God makes a decree, then what He decrees must come to pass but God has not decreed every single thing in the universe.

      4. Heaven is the full manifestation of God and the bible says that God will be all in all. Everything that God is will be completely endowed into every single person that has ever lived. That is heaven! We are physical beings living in this physical world (city). When God lives in us we become the city, the spiritual dwelling place for God. There will be a hierarchy in God’s government just like the physical heavens are higher than the earth and sea. The sea is the sea of human carnality and it will no longer exist in God’s kingdom. The new heaven and the new earth are people under a new spiritual system having gone away the old heaven and earth in the previous carnal physical system. The bible indicates that all will be made alive in Christ but each man in his own order. There is no way for me to know what type of spiritual bodies people will have but there will be different kinds just like there are different kinds of flesh and different kinds of celestial bodies in the physical heavens. We will all be children in the family of God. I see no reason why you wouldn’t recognize your friends from your old life or your parents. The words used in the book of Revelation are used symbolically. God is not sitting on a literal throne this is a symbol of the majesty of a king. The bible doesn’t give specific answers to some of your questions but many people confuse the representation of physical things with what will occur in God’s spiritual kingdom but Revelation is almost purely metaphorical.

      5. Yes, Satan and his messengers will be saved in the end. I don’t like the phrase “fallen angels” because it gravitates to the doctrine of Lucifer which is false. The Greek word for angel is “aggelos” and it simple means a messenger. The messengers of Satan are almost always human and demons are false ideas that we give life to. Demonic influence is manifested in human activity. Always remember that it was God that created Satan to begin with because Satan is necessary in God’s plan. God is not evil but God does create evil and Satan is God’s instrument of evil. Everything in the universe will return to God and that includes Satan, his messengers, and everything evil. When you read phrases like “forever and ever” in the book of Revelation when it talks about the punishment for Satan, that phrase is not scripture. Bible translators changed the Greek word “aion” which means an age to the English word eternity so that’s where “forever and ever” comes from. If you think about it, “forever and ever” is an oxymoronic statement because “forever” already means to last forever so what does forever AND ever mean? The proper translation is ages of ages so Satan’s punishment will end when his judgment is complete.

I have every confidence that He has the power to save everyone and I so hope that is true! I have held more of a belief in destruction of those at the second death, but you are starting to sway me thru His word! Can you explain the word perish in John 3:16 for me.       The word perish in John 3:16 comes from the Greek word “apollymi” and it is translated as several different words in addition to perish. It is also translated as the words destroy and lost. There are different ways to determine interpretation but the best way is to study usage (the way the word is used in scripture). Let’s take a look at John 3:16;
      For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
      This verse is probably the most popular scripture throughout all of Christianity and the unfortunate truth is that this verse is corrupted. The word “everlasting” is not a biblical word and it doesn’t belong in this scripture or any scripture. The Greek word “aionios” means age-abiding or pertaining to the ages and not everlasting. It’s root noun is “aion” and it is translated in scripture as the word age. Well, adjectives describe nouns so just as hourly pertains to hours and monthly pertains to months, aionios pertains to aions (plural ages pertains to ages not eternities). So God promises another age of life to those that believe while the rest of the world has perished but there is something interesting about the word perish. In John 2:19, Jesus says, destroy this temple and I’ll raise it up in three days. The word destroy comes from the same Greek word as perish which is “apollymi” so they mean the same thing. To perish, to be destroyed, or to be lost all points to death. We all die so we all perish but God can and will restore us from the grave. The condition of being perished in death is temporary and that’s why death is likened to sleep in the bible because we will all rise in the resurrection. The second death is the death of the carnal man inside of all of us and the death of death itself.

    1. Yes of course one of the most popular sets of scripture that pastors love to use to scare the hell out of it’s congregants. In a religion that teaches about an eternal hell and unpardonable sins verses like theses in Hebrew 10:26-29 can easily terrorize someone. The key to understanding this verse is understanding what the word “willful” means and it means to sin voluntarily without compulsion or weakness. You know the truth but you still choose sin regardless of the truth. Remember that sinning simply means to miss the mark. It doesn’t always point to the really bad things simply making a mistake is sin. We all have sin and we all struggle with overcoming certain sins in our life but there should always be a struggle if the spiritual man is awakened inside of us. When we were spiritually dead, we could sin voluntarily with little to no remorse but even that sin is done out of ignorance. Do you remember the story when the Pharisees accused Jesus of casting out demons with the power of the devil? They knew Jesus didn’t have a devil and they also knew that Jesus came from God but they didn’t want to accept it because Jesus didn’t fit their vain standards. They knew the truth but instead they lied (sinned willfully) in attempt to influence the masses and maintain power. We all have sin and we will always have sin in our lives but when we sin without any guilt or desire to change there is nothing else left but judgement.

  42. I have some questions based off of what I read on your article about satan being created from the beginning as a serpent. If he was never an angel, why does he have his own angels? It seems as though satan is their chief with the way revelation 12:9 is written about him having his own angels.

    Also I consider the book of Enoch to hold truths and it states in the book of Enoch that an angel named Gadreel was responsible for deceiving Eve in the garden of Eden. I always imagined this to be the actual name of Satan and not Lucifer. Surely God would give this instrument of his which plays such significant role in his plan, an actual name? Because “Satan”, “Serpent”, “Dragon” etc are not actual names..

    And in 2 Corinthians 2 11:14 why does it say that? Because there was not much of an explanation there when you talked about the meaning of that verse. If Satan has always been the serpent (like you said) then why does scriptures contradict this by saying that he is transformed into an angel of light? Because to me it makes sense that he can be an angel of light and also be the serpent since the serpent is just symbolic of his traits and characteristics. You also said he isn’t a literal snake (which I agree with) so if he’s “spiritually” a snake (which to me is still just figurative language about being a snake) then what is he? Simply saying “Satan isn’t an angel of light” isn’t any sort of scriptural explanation to me about why he isn’t, especially when scripture implies he has the ability? I understand that in Genesis it says “in the beginning” when referring to the serpent being created, but to me that isn’t contradictory to him being an angelic being regardless since we can acknowledge that the serpent is just a symbol of what he represents. Just like I could call someone a snake and claim that they are spiritually snakes, does not make them *literally* spiritually snakes, only *figuratively* spiritually snakes.

    1. The word “angel” is translated from the Greek word “aggelos” and it essentially means a messenger. There is really no distinction between a heavenly messenger or an earthly messenger but sometimes the context is understood as in cases where scripture says, “an angel of the Lord”. Even then, an angel of the Lord can still be human. Jesus was an angel by definition because he was a messenger, a messenger of God. John the Baptist was an “angel” but in scripture he is called a messenger but remember angel and messenger are translated from the same Greek word “aggelos”. So, with all of that said, the angels of Satan are in fact human messengers. Where do you get inspiration from? Heavenly beings? Would you be able to tell? We interact with people every single day and we are lead a certain way and influenced by the people we listen to. People go to church and they listen to their pastors tell them that people will go to hell for all eternity if they don’t accept Christ in their life before they die. That is heresy and it is not from God so who else would promote such a damnable heresy? You qouted Revelation 12:9 and in it we read that Satan deceives the whole world. The whole world? Do you know how remarkably efficient you would have to be to deceive the whole world? Satan deceives the world through human messengers that teach and spread horrible heresies in the name of God.

      The book of Enoch may contain some truths but there is argument to its overall validity as inspired text thus the reason why it’s not canonized. There are stories in Enoch that are blatant contradictions to the canonized scriptures. There isn’t a single scripture in the entire canonized bible that mentions the devil being called Gadreel but the devil is called Satan in over 50 verses. Satan means adversary so I don’t see how Satan can’t be a name especially when that is what the devil is called the most.

      I thought I explained 2 Corinthians 11:14 well enough but maybe not. In the context of that verse, the Apostle Paul is talking about false apostles posing as real apostles of Christ and that shouldn’t shock you because Satan himself masquerades as a messenger of light (righteousness). Literally in all of Christianity most Christians believe that Satan was a literal angel that chose to be a devil but Satan has always been what he has been but through deception he can “transform” himself into something else to influence people in their minds. Think about the prosperity gospel preachers they masquerade as ministers of God but in actuality they are workers of Satan, the angels of the devil. It’s all about what a person believes in their own mind in regards to truth or deception – light or darkness. The bible says that the devil was a murderer from the beginning so if he was an angel it would’ve had to happen before the beginning but Jesus is the beginning and the end. The only thing that preceded Jesus was his Father so there isn’t a timeframe that fits the theology of Satan ever being an “angel”. If we apply the appropriate definition to angel then the phrase “angelic being” doesn’t really make sense since that would imply a messenger being but I don’t think that’s what you mean. I would assume that you are referring to Heavenly beings but Satan is not a heavenly being he is a spiritual being that exists in the spiritual world. There is evil and wickedness in the spiritual realm.

      Demons are evil or unclean spirits according to scripture. They can be manifested in different forms but anything that is anti-Christ or adversarial to the will of God could be classified as a demon. Many people are fascinated with the idea of demons or fallen angels and they obsess about things that really have no scriptural backing. These spirits can influence people, enter people and animals, cause sickness and diseases among other things. “Spirit” is anything that gives life and the very essence of God is life but God is also truth. Anything that is not of the truth is demonic or against God. There is power in spiritual realm and Paul talks about spiritual wickedness in high places so there is another higher invisible realm where spiritual forces can influence us in our own physical realities. Every bad thing that happens to us is not caused by demons because we are bad enough on our own with our own carnal nature but demons serve a purpose in causing certain evils. We can manifest demons when we believe or embrace things that are not true and doctrines that are false. In 1 Timothy 4:1 it talks about people giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. Hell is a doctrine of demons. A demon itself doesn’t always have to be a “living” entity but we can give life to lies and things that are not real in our own minds by what we choose to believe and what we allow to influence us and that is the very nature of demonic influence.

I know this is my third comment, and I have asked you more questions than any other visitor here has asked you here so far. If I am bothering you by asking you too many questions, please tell me. Do you mind answering my questions? Am I taking up too much of your time? I am confused by these verses and your explanation of the lake of fire. “Revelation 20:11-15 And I perceived a great white throne, and Him Who is sitting upon it, from Whose face earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them.” And I perceived the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne. And the scrolls were opened. And another scroll was opened which is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged by that which is written in the scrolls in accord with their acts.” And the sea gives up the dead in it, and death and the unseen give up the dead in them. And they were condemned {Judged}, each in accord with their acts.” And death and the unseen were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death-the lake of fire. And if anyone was not found written in the scroll of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.” {CLV}” The thing I am not understanding here is these Bible verses says “And the dead were judged by that which is written in the scrolls in accord with their acts” before “And death and the unseen were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death-the lake of fire. And if anyone was not found written in the scroll of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.” If the dead were judged before those whose names were not in the Book of Life were cast into the lake of fire, how do we conclude that the saints start judging those whose names are not in the Book of Life after they are cast into the lake of fire? This verse seems to be saying by the time they are cast into the lake of fire, they have already been judged. [Paul is clearly talking to believers but this verse says “every man’s work” so this is not talking about believers only but everyone. I will show you from the scriptures” Are you sure you are not taking these verses out of context? I ask this because I see no scriptural proof that the Day of Judgment is the purpose of the lake of fire. The Bible verses I mentioned earlier seem to say judgment happens before anyone is cast into the lake of fire. If those who are cast into the lake of fire have already been judged, why would God judge them again? Fire can be literal or spiritual, but I don’t see any scriptural proof that the lake of fire cannot be literal. The fire that tries men’s works is spiritual, but the verse says “the day shall declare it.” I would assume the day meant here is the Day of Judgment. If everyone’s works are tried by fire on the Day of Judgment, and those cast into the lake of fire have already been judged, I cannot understand how this verse proves that the purpose of the lake of fire is judgment by fire. In this sense, death and Hades/Sheol are eventually abolished at the consummation, but those who were cast into the lake of fire still literally died and entered Hades. In other words, those who were cast into the lake of fire experience the literal/physical second death first, and then death and Hades are abolished after these individuals are resurrected because no one will ever be subject to them again. Thus, Death and Hades are destroyed as a result of the literal/physical death of those who were literally destroyed (maybe in a literal lake of fire) by the lake of fire/the literal/physical second death. If fire came down from heaven and devoured them, when will they be judged, and when will they be resurrected? Is this literal fire? Do they die instantly from it? I read your article on the lake of fire, and I thought I totally understood what the lake of fire is. After reading two articles from others who preach the salvation of all, I feel totally confused. Does God plan to literally burn the wicked to death in a horrific fire to destroy them after they are judged, and then resurrect them again at the consummation? To be honest, I hope that is not the case. It sounds extremely unnecessary and cruel. I’m certainly not an annihilationist. I am 100% certain that all of God’s creatures will eventually be saved and granted immortality.       I don’t mind answering your questions; however, asking dozens of questions in one or two comments is really not practical. Please limit your questions to only a few at a time and I say this because my answer to your first question might answer several of the other questions you seek answers to. Be patient in your search for truth and understanding. Sometimes we get overly zealous and we crown our minds with too much information to process so we end up crashing just like a computer.
      Isaiah 28:13 But the word of the Lord was to them, “Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little,” That they might go and fall backward, and be broken And snared and caught.
      Sometimes God speaks to us like we are babies but that is all we can handle until we mature (spiritually). When a baby tries to walk before it has mastered crawling, it will go and fall backward. We fall backward when we try to run before we can walk and our faith ends up broken, snared, and caught by the wind (doubt). So again, be patient and take your learning and understanding gradually and trust me, you will be better off for it.
      In regards to your questions about Revelation 20:11-15, you have to understand that the book of Revelations was written from a vision. John is writing what he saw in a vision regarding the unveiling of Jesus Christ. You have to be very careful not to over interpret certain scriptures especially in the book of Revelation due to all of the symbolism. You have made an assumption that the dead had to experience a judgment that is separate and past tense from whatever the lake of fire is (also assuming that the lake of fire is something different altogether). Scripture is like a puzzle and you have to find the right pieces that fit in the right places. Just because a scripture has a period at the end of it doesn’t mean that it is the end of a thought. Remember that the original scrolls had no punctuation but punctuation can have an impact on interpretation if we aren’t careful. Also don’t assume that every detail in the book of Revelation has to be chronological in the way that it is written. These scriptures aren’t talking about two different judgments, the scriptures tell us that people will be judged and this judgment is described as being cast in the lake of fire. We have scrolls with people’s names on them, we have a resurrection symbolized by the sea, death, and hades giving up their own dead, and then we have death and hades being thrown into the lake of fire. In addition to that, whoever’s name wasn’t written in the scroll of life, they are also cast into the lake of fire. Being cast into lake of fire is their JUDGEMENT! When a person is judged for a crime, they first have to be found guilty in a court of law before they can be punished. After being found guilty, then comes the sentence/punishment. Those who are cast in the lake of fire are judged according to their works and when it is determined that their names were not found in the book of life, they are then sentenced to the lake of fire as a part of their overall judgment and not another unnecessary ancillary judgment.
      In regards to 1 Corinthians 3:13-15, it is true that I have made a connection with what Paul writes about “everyone’s work being tried by fire” and the lake of fire judgment but to me, it makes perfect sense when we compare spiritual things with the spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:13).
      Malachi 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? And who shall stand when he appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
      He (God) is like a refiner’s fire? Do you not see that this is a metaphor? When is God like a refiner’s fire?
      Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.
      God is a consuming fire? Surely this is metaphorical as well but how is God like a consuming fire? How can you not see how Paul is describing these very traits about the refining nature of God’s judgment and the things that will be consumed by the fire of God in 1 Corinthians 3:13-15?
      You have suggested that I might be taking certain scriptures out of context but do you even know what it means to “take scripture out of context? Do you know that there is NO scripture in the entire bible that instructs the reader to consider “context” when studying scripture? I am not suggesting that understanding context is somehow not important, however, it is not what you think it is. There is no special “contextual” training that will help anyone learn or understand matters pertaining to the spiritual but this is how the religious leaders remove God from the equation so that they can be god themselves. The context of 1 Corinthians 3:13-15 is clear;
      1 Corinthians 3:9-11 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
      This is the context of 1 Corinthians 3:13-15 and it is clear that Paul is using figurative language when he talks about people building on the foundation of Christ with gold, silver, precious, wood, hay, and stubble. This is clearly not literal but then Paul goes on to talk about everyone’s work be tried by fire, suffering loss, and then being saved by fire. Do you have an explanation for what Paul is talking about? We have Paul talking about people’s work being tried by the fire and then we read in Revelation 20:13-14 about people being judged by their WORKS and then being cast into the lake of fire. How much more scriptural proof do you need? Again, there isn’t a separate judgment before anyone is cast into the lake of fire; the lake of fire is the judgment.
      You stated that fire can be literal or spiritual and that you didn’t see any scriptural proof that the lake of fire can’t be literal but what scriptural proof do you have that it is literal? Sure it could be literal but I’m not convinced that it is and based on all of the spiritual knowledge that I have I’m even more convinced that it is literal. The entire book of Revelation is virtually all symbolic so I see no to just assume that anything is literal. We agree that the fire that tries men’s works is spiritual but the application of its connection to the “day of judgment” is also spiritual.
      The fire that tries everyone’s work on the Day of Judgment is the fire from the lake of fire which is not a literal lake of fire; it is a symbol of the refining nature of God’s consuming fire judgement.
      You also asked me, “how do I know that the lake of fire is not a literal fire destroying (albeit not permanently) the wicked? Why would the lake of fire be a metaphor for literal physical death when the people being judged were already dead before being resurrected? The resurrection occurs before people are cast into the lake of fire hence – the sea gave up the dead who were in it; and death and hades delivered up the dead which were in them. So there will be billions brought up from the dead to face judgment and the best thing that God can do is to send them back to the place they were before? Why not just leave them there? In regards to death and Hades/Sheol, I clearly explain in my lake of fire paper that these things will be destroyed by God so I’m not sure what it is that you are not convinced of by my explanation. You seem to agree with exactly what I wrote about the second death but speaking of the second death, I’m confident that the lake of fire isn’t a literal fire destroying the wicked (not permanently) because, destruction is what occurs in the first death and even the righteous experience the first death. The lake of fire is the second death which is not a repeat of the first physical death. It is the death (end) of something else and the application here is spiritual just like the purpose of the lake of fire. This is why Paul tells us in I Corinthians 3:15 that if a man’s work is burned, he shall suffer loss but he himself shall be saved so as by fire. I am convinced that the lake of fire which is the second death is symbolic for a non-physical death because it would make no sense for God to resurrect people from the dead only to sentence them back to a physical death and then resurrect them again.
      In 1 Corinthians 15:26, Paul is clearly talking about the first death which is the physical death that we all experience that Solomon wrote about in the book of Ecclesiastes. The same physical death in which we return to the dust of the earth and the spirit returns to God. You are suggesting that the lake of fire could also be a literal physical death but where are your scriptures to support that position? There is a clear distinction between the first death and the second death otherwise, what is the point of calling one first and the other second? Why not leave people dead in the first death because it makes no sense to God to resurrect people only to have them sent to death again.
      In Malachi 4:1, God is talking about destroying the wicked with literal fire but that has nothing to do with the purpose of the lake of fire when we get to the great white throne judgment in the book of Revelation. Like I stated earlier, the purpose of the lake of fire is not to destroy the wicked, it is to destroy the wickedness inside of the wicked. You are getting ahead of yourself… When Christ returns to the earth, the wicked will be destroyed by the brightness of His coming however, this is the beginning of the age of the millennial reign with Christ. That age is for a 1,000 years and while that can be interpreted to be literal or not (I won’t go there), the wicked will still be dead in Hades waiting to be called up in the resurrection to judgment. When the wicked and unbelieving populations are resurrected from the dead, there are no instructions as to what this will look like or how long it will take. All we read is that they will be judged and then they will be cast into the lake of fire but we don’t have a timeline or a preview as to what this will look like. I can only speculate that in the second resurrection to judgement after Satan is loosed from his prison, the devil will have one last opportunity to deceive the nations before he must face his judgment. Who knows how long all of that will take? It is an assumption to suggest that being “devoured” by the fire from heavens means that a person had to die but the word devoured comes from the Greek word “katesthiō” which essentially means to eat up or to consume and we already know that God is a consuming fire so this could be the introduction of many being cast into God’s consuming lake of fire judgment.
      In regards to Malachi 4:3, when the wicked (those still alive and present at the time of the second coming of Christ), they are literally destroyed but this is just their first death. This is not talking about the lake of fire judgment that occurs after the wicked rise in the resurrection to judgment. The word “trampled” comes from the Hebrew word “ʿāsas” and it literally means to press, crush, or tread. It is only found in this one verse so there aren’t any other verses that we can use to study the usage nevertheless, this type of language is meant more to be proverbial than literal. The righteous will inherit the earth while the wicked are dead. When a person dies good or bad, where do they go? They return to the dust of the earth right? So the righteous will tread over the wicked in a proverbial sense because the wicked will be dust.
      I read the two articles you posted and their writings haven’t changed anything about what I believe. I am not exactly sure why they and others insist that the second death has to be a literal physical death but I find that to be as bizarre as trying to suggest that Christ literally has a two-edged sword coming out of his mouth. Death can be interpreted figuratively as Paul does in 1 Corinthians 15:31 when he says he dies daily. Clearly this isn’t literal and he is speaking about the carnal man dying (as in him not submitting to the will of the flesh). I saved this scripture for last but here is definitive proof that the second death which is the lake of fire is NOT a literal physical death.
      Revelation 2:11“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes SHALL NOT BE HURT BY THE SECOND DEATH.”
      He who overcomes shall not be HURT of the second death? Hurt? Does this not seem to correlate with what Paul says about SUFFERING LOSS if a person’s work is burned? If the lake of fire second death was a literal physical death as it has been suggested, then the word hurt should be replaced by the word killed.
      “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be killed by the second death.”
      It is clear that the purpose of the lake of fire second death is to do something other than just a literal cessation of life. The second death is the death of death itself and everything that brings about death. The second death is the death of the carnal man that lives in all of us.
      I hope this helps your understanding of the lake of fire and second death.

  46. If I am entitled to ask you more, I have some new serious concerns about the salvation of all. Do you believe all animals, including insects and tiny sea creatures, will be resurrected, vivified and live forever at peace after all things are restored? Also, do you know that the Greek word for all does not always mean everyone? How do you prove that all men must mean everyone when it says Jesus is the savior of all men, especially those who believe? How do you prove that the second all in “God will be all in all” must mean everyone? If God is reconciling all things to Himself, and all things must mean everything, why is God destroying this entire world? I imagine many things in this world might be destroyed and never reconciled to God. Do you believe every home ever built will be restored? Do you believe every plant who has ever lived will be restored/reconciled? Do you believe every virus who has ever lived will be restored/reconciled? If you say no, viruses will not be restored, then how can you say all things must literally mean everything? God cannot literally be everything in everyone. Do you think God will be darkness and sin in everyone? Do you think God will be viruses in everyone? I’m sure you do not. Therefore, the first all in “God will be all in all” does not literally mean everything. That makes me very concerned that the second all in “God will be all in all” does not necessarily mean everyone. There can be a difference between all and everyone. I am very concerned we might be misinterpreting all to mean every person, or every thing, in the Bible when that is not what all actually means in these contexts. Please help me! These questions have made me question and even doubt the salvation of all. 😦

    1. In regards to your second comment about the salvation of all… Yes, I am aware that the Greek word “pas” doesn’t always mean all and it can mean as many as but it can mean all (inclusively) depending on the context of the all.
      Romans 3:23 For ALL (Greek = “pas”) have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
      Do you think this all means all or could it mean only “some” have sinned and came short of the glory of God?
      Matthew 4:4 But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY (Greek = “pas”) word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”
      Do you think man should live on only “some” of the words of God or ALL of the words of God?
      Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
      Do you think only “some” things are possible with God?
      You ask, “How do you prove that all men must mean everyone when it says Jesus is the savior of all men, especially those who believe?”
      1 Timothy 4:10 For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.
      There is one thing that I have always found to be interesting about the word “ALL” and that is that people seem to only have a problem with the word when it has to do with salvation. The truth here is that the majority of people (Christians) do not want God to save everyone. Sadly, it makes them feel special to think that they will be in heaven while billions of losers will be burning in hell for all eternity. There are two ways to prove that the all really means all in 1 Timothy 4:10. First is the word “MEN” and it comes from the Greek word “anthrōpos” which literally means humanity. This word is also translated as man and in context in can men only one individual but that is easily determined by the context. Here is another example of how the phrase “ALL MEN” is used to refer to everyone;
      Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
      Is there any dispute about death being passed to ALL MEN (Humanity)? Of course not because this has nothing to do with salvation. Christianity has no problem with death passing upon all men but when it comes to God saving all men, they have a serious problem with that and they invent all kinds of doctrines to make God out to be a liar.
      The other way to prove that “all men” in 1 Timothy 4:10 really includes everyone is the addition of the phrase, “especially of those who believe”. Believers already know that God will save them but the rest of the world doesn’t know what God will do so this shows universal inclusiveness and not exclusivity for just believers. There is no way to prove that there are some groups of people that are not included in “ALL MEN”.
      You ask, “How do you prove that the second all in “God will be all in all” must mean everyone?”
      Is there any reason to believe that it doesn’t? If it wasn’t for the poisonous traditions of Christianity most would find little wrong with that verse but Christianity has distorted the word of God to such a degree that many have begun to doubt what God has said essentially giving more power to the words of men over the word of God. Can you think of anything that would stop God from actually being all in all? What force or power would prevent, restrict, or overrule God’s declaration that He will be all in all? In 1 Corinthians 15:24, we read that Christ will put down all rule, power, and authority so who or what is going to stop God from accomplishing what He has said He will do?
      In Philippians 2:9-11, we read that Jesus has a name that is above EVERY (Greek – pas) name and that at the name of Jesus EVERY knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that EVERY tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
      Do you believe that only some knees will bow or only some tongues will confess? These scriptures prove that Jesus Christ is the Supreme authority to which no man will be able to refuse submission to Christ when Christ puts all enemies under His feet. The context of the second “all” in God will be all in all is the all spoken of in 1 Corinthians 15:22;
      For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
      Is there anyone that hasn’t or won’t die in Adam? The “all” here is clearly speaking about all of humanity because the same all is being contrasted with the same all being made alive in Christ. The same all that die in Adam will be the same all that are made alive in Christ which is every single person that has ever lived.
      God is not reconciling “all things” to Himself; God is reconciling the world (humanity) to Himself;
      2 Corinthians 5:17-19 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
      I have never stated that “all things must literally mean everything” and the phrase “all things” is not even a good translation. There is no distinction between “all” and “all things” because both are translated from the same Greek word “pas”, it’s just that in the latter, the bible translators decided to add the word “things” as in “all things” in some places in the bible assuming that it would help with interpretation but I think it confuses people more that it helps. Be logical with yourself. Some of your questions are utterly ridiculous and I think you know that but I understand that your doubt has you wavering. I do not believe that the first ALL in “God will be all in all” has to literally mean everything but that doesn’t change the gloriousness of 1 Corinthians 15:28 in any way. What do house built by men have to do with God? What do viruses that cause sickness have to do with God in His plan to restore? What do plants have to do with God if God is making humanity immortal thus eliminating the need for oxygen and food? If I told you that Michael Jordan will be all in all, would you assume that the first all would literally mean every single thing in the world or everything that Michael Jordan is? It would make no sense to assign things to Michael Jordan that has nothing to do with who he is and what he has accomplished. If Michael Jordan will be all in all, then the only reasonable conclusion would be that all would be exceptional basketball players because that’s who Michael Jordan is. So, the first ALL in “God will be all in all” is referring to all that is God. God is love, peace, life, strength, faithfulness, mercy, forgiveness, righteousness, and much more, so everything that God is – is what the first “all” represents. The full manifestation of God (All that God is) will dwell in all of humanity. God will be ALL in ALL!

  48. I’ve heard Calvanists say Jesus Christ only died for the elect, those who were predestined to be chosen before the foundation of the world. Which scripture proves Jesus died for everyone and not only the elect? Dying for the sins of the whole world does not convince them Jesus died for everyone because they say the phrase the whole world only refers to every member of the elect throughout the whole world. I’ve heard some say Jesus died to take the punishment of our sins so that they can be forgiven. I’ve heard others say Jesus died only to display His infinite love for mankind. Did Jesus literally die in mankind’s place to take the punishment of all sins, or did He die only to display His love for mankind? Also, how do we know everything in the original scriptures must be true? I’ve heard some say we cannot be sure everything in the original scriptures is true because they were written so long ago, or because they were technically transcribed on paper by fallible men.

  50. Thank you for your insightful content. I have a question. Who will be those ‘few’ that are part of the first resurrection? Is it those who choose to daily follow Christ, die to self daily, walk the narrow path? My thought is that this lifestyle is not to merit salvation it is to be part of the resurrection and to earn position in the kingdom. Can you chat a bit about ‘those chosen’ and ‘those called’. What do you think of one who is pursuing the narrow path for years then falls into sin and abandons the course?

    1. I have always stated that the chosen or the few will be the ones that overcome this world (age). Salvation is a process and everyone will be saved in their proper order. Sometimes falling is necessary for our spiritual growth. If there was nothing for you to overcome then being chosen for that purpose wouldn’t make much sense now would it? Falling is what gives us a reason to overcome but you are alive and your heart seems to be in the right place. You desire to do good even if the carnal man inside of you tells you otherwise.

      Romans 7:15-25 I do not understand what I do; for I don’t do what I would like to do, but instead I do what I hate. Since what I do is what I don’t want to do, this shows that I agree that the Law is right. So I am not really the one who does this thing; rather it is the sin that lives in me. I know that good does not live in me—that is, in my human nature. For even though the desire to do good is in me, I am not able to do it. I don’t do the good I want to do; instead, I do the evil that I do not want to do. If I do what I don’t want to do, this means that I am no longer the one who does it; instead, it is the sin that lives in me. So I find that this law is at work: when I want to do what is good, what is evil is the only choice I have. My inner being delights in the law of God. But I see a different law at work in my body—a law that fights against the law which my mind approves of. It makes me a prisoner to the law of sin which is at work in my body.
