Watch Joseph Prince dismantle “Universal Salvation” in 60 seconds.

This 60 second video is a small snippet of one of Joseph Prince’s much larger sermons in which he does a fantastic job of making his laity feel special. This is a clever tactic because it allows Mr. Prince to continue stealing their money so that he can live lavishly just like the kings of the earth. I want to take a quick moment to dissect this short video because in no way has Mr. Prince dismantled universal salvation. The first lie that Mr. Prince claims is that everyone will be saved regardless of whether they are a Christian or a believer but that is not what I believe as a Christian universalist. I could make a pretty compelling argument that being a Christian means nothing in title only and the title alone certainly doesn’t represent those who God is calling. Anyone can call themselves a Christian but that doesn’t really mean anything. The same goes for confessing to be a believer. Christian claim to be believers in Jesus the Christ and they don’t even believe that he is the Christ.

1 John 4:14 says that the Father sent the son “TO BE” the savior of the world but “to be” is not in the Greek. The bible translators added those words and that’s not necessarily a bad thing but it takes a little bit of the interpretation away. If you take “to be” out of the translation it simply will read, “the Father sent the son – savior of the world”. The point is that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. It is already willed and commissioned by the Father. Does anyone really believe that the God of the Universe can will and commission something to happen and it can’t or won’t happen? This the arrogance and ignorance of man thinking that God needs man’s permission to save him or her. This is blasphemy when God is likened to that of a man. What is it that a person must do to be saved? Doesn’t it require confessing with your mouth on the Lord Jesus Christ?

Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

How does one come to confessing on the Lord Jesus? Should it come after being threatened with eternal torture in hell for “denying” Christ? I don’t think so…

Philippians 2:10-12 says at the name of Jesus EVERY knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that EVERY tongue will CONFESS that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Is there anyone that seriously believes that God forcing people to bow their knees and to confess to Christ would bring Him glory? Would it not be more glorious for God to be awesome enough to cause change in all of humanity to the point that they volunteer to bow and confess to Christ? 1 Corinthians 12:3 says that no one can say, “Jesus is Lord”, except by the Holy Spirit so that alone proves that God’s Holy Spirit will be working in anyone that has a tongue. This is not hard stuff to grasp but when these agents of Satan see the possibility of their congregants learning the truth about their evil deceptive ways they fear that there will be a mass exodus from their cathedrals of heresy.

Let’s take a look at 1 Corinthians 15:22 which is the verse Mr. Prince claims is the only verse that Universalists use to validate the teaching of universal salvation.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

Mr. Prince claims that we must read everything (scripture) in it’s context. I’ve talked about context before and while I’ve stated before that understanding context certainly has it’s place as a part of understanding certain passages, it is by no means the rule of thumb but these spiritual terrorists use “context” to change the scriptures to mean whatever they want them to mean. So, what is the “context” of 1 Corinthians 15:22? If you read the scriptures that precede verse 22, the clear context of this passage is death and the resurrection of the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:12-21 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

The context is already clear but Mr. Prince wants to convince his audience that the context of the passage has to do with (who the all) is but that is only because he doesn’t like the idea of God saving all of humanity in fact, I truly believe he despises it. Heaven wouldn’t be as good if everyone gets in so the idea that there will be billions of losers burning in hell for all eternity is what makes Christians feel uber special. Christianity is farce. Mr. Prince has made a fatal flaw in his pitiful conclusion of who the all represents in 1 Corinthians 15:22. Notice who the all is being contrasted with all that die IN ADAM. Can I get a show of hands for anyone that put their trust in Adam to die? That had nothing to do with man’s choice this was a God ordained plan and I will prove it even further. Let’s take a look at Romans 5:17-19;

For if by the offense of the one, death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. So then, as through one offense the result was condemnation to all mankind, so also through one act of righteousness the result was justification of life to all mankind. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

How can there be any dispute about these obvious truths? The same all that die in Adam is the same all that will be made alive in Christ. Mr. Prince wants you to believe that the all is only referring to those who put their trust in Christ but where does it say that in the scripture? The Apostle Paul is describing an order of resurrection events with Christ being the first of firstfruits but what is a firstfruit? This terminology has to deal with harvests and the firstfruits are the first offerings of produce but why does Paul use this type of language? He uses this language because Israel participated in 3 festivals each year; the feast of unleavened bread, the feast of weeks, and the feast of tabernacles. Each one of these feasts represents an order of the all being made alive in Christ. Christ was made alive first – he is the first of the firstfruits, those who are Christ’s AT HIS COMING are the firstfruits, but there is still one festival – the feast of tabernacle. This was the last feast of the year and let me show you how it was celebrated in ancient Israel;

Deuteronomy 16:13-14 “You shall observe the Feast of Tabernacles seven days, when you have gathered from your threshing floor and from your winepress. And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son and your daughter, your male servant and your female servant and the Levite, the STRANGER and the fatherless and the widow, who are within your gates.

Who is left out? This is the final resurrection event where everyone will be invited into the kingdom of God. There are many translations that have hidden the third resurrection event but it is recorded beautifully in the two particular translations that are not as popular. In 1 Corinthians 15:24, most popular bible translations translate the beginning of that verse as, “then comes the end” or some variant of that phrase but the end is a resurrection event. We already know that there will be a resurrection to judgment for the wicked and unbelieving populations but God judges in righteousness not torture. Here are the two bible translations that use a word to describe the final resurrection event instead of just saying – the end.

1 Corinthians 15:22-24 For just as in connection with Adam all die, so in connection with the Messiah all will be made alive. But each in his own order: the Messiah is the firstfruits; then those who belong to the Messiah, at the time of his coming; then the culmination, when he hands over the Kingdom to God the Father, after having put an end to every rulership, yes, to every authority and power. (The Complete Jewish Bible)

1 Corinthians 15:22-24 For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified. Yet each in his own class: the Firstfruit, Christ; thereupon those who are Christ’s in His presence; thereafter the consummation, whenever He may be giving up the kingdom to His God and Father, whenever He should be nullifying all sovereignty and all authority and power. (The Concordant Version of the New Testament)

The culmination and the consummation are both words that describe the end or the final resurrection event which is the resurrection to judgment and we know from Isaiah 26:9 that when God’s judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Is there anyone that believes that God will be the worst farmer in the history of the world? God will get a 100% return at His harvest and how can we be sure of that? Because in 1 Corinthians 15:24-28, we read that Jesus Christ will put down ALL rule, authority, and power. Christ will put all enemies under his feet with death itself being the final enemy to be destroyed (abolished). If in Christ, all are not made alive suggesting that there will be many still locked in death, then Christ will not have defeated death. Death will still be victorious but that’s not what the scriptures say, Isaiah 25:8 says that God will swallow up death in victory… The only way that death can be swallowed up in victory is if everyone is given life. That truth prompted Paul to write this;

1 Corinthians 15:55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”

Did you know that most popular bible translations translate the Greek word “Hades” as hell except for this one verse? If you don’t believe that go to http://www.biblegateway.com and look up this verse. Click on the link that says “in all English translations” underneath the footnotes. You will see all the bible translations and that the majority of them have either left Hades untranslated or translated as death or grave. There is only one bible that actually translates Hades as hell in 1 Corinthians 15:55 and that bible is the New Matthew Bible. How many Christian pastors do you know of that believe that there will be victory over hell? They don’t want there to be victory over hell because then they will not be able to continue stealing people’s money. Ask yourself this question, would you still go to church if you knew that hell was a lie and that Christian pastors use the doctrine of hell to deceive Christians into being repeat tithe-payers? Christians are the dominant group of people that believe in hell so hell is used to control Christians. Did you know that the enforcement of tithe-paying is a sin? That’s right! Any pastor that requires his or her congregants to pay “tithes” or a tenth of their wages under the Levitical covenant is a gross sin. There is NO new testament commandment for Christians to pay “TITHES” but these lying deceiving hucksters will bleed you dry as long as you fear their hell. Christianity is the perfect scam and the only person that has taken scripture out of context is Jospeh Prince, so he by his own pun proves himself to be the con.
