I’m sure many of you have heard about the sinner’s prayer and most people including me have likely experienced saying it at least once in your life. The sinner’s prayer is an evangelical term referring to any prayer of repentance, prayed by individuals who feel convicted of the presence of sin in their lives and desire to form or renew a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
You typically will see the sinner’s prayer take place at the end of a worship service in which a pastor will invite church attendees down to the alter (alter call) who desire to receive Christ in their life. They will then repeat a few sentences from the pastor and then they will miraculously become saved and are now new Christians. This process is often paired with the threat of going to hell if you die without Christ in your life. The obvious motivation for many would-be Christians is the fear of going to hell. Christians will not admit this but it is true. Ask any Christian what they would do if there was no such thing as hell? They wouldn’t even know how to answer the question because the heart of their belief is they are being saved from hell. Belief in the pagan hell of Christianity is an idol of the heart. You cannot serve Christ and hold on to all of the idols of your heart (false doctrines, man-made traditions, etc.) This, my friends is not the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the sad news of the devil that deceives the whole world.
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and SATAN, WHICH DECEIVETH THE WHOLE WORLD: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
This is the sinner’s prayer according to Billy Graham who is a revered man in Christendom;
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen”
The sinner’s prayer is an absolute joke. This is yet another man made invention by carnal men who have not only undermined the very word of God, but also make God out to be a liar.
John 6:44 NO MAN CAN COME TO ME, except the Father which hath sent me DRAW HIM: and I will raise him up at the last day. Your pastor urging you to accept Christ in to your heart to avoid hell is not being drawn by God the Father. Religious people will not tell you about hell until they get you in the back to have a little sit down with you. First, you are grabbed emotionally (remorse for sin) then you are emotionally coerced into becoming a Christian (fear of going to hell). My hope and prayer is that I can open the eyes of some of you who feel hopeless. John 8:32 And YE SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH, and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE. This site is for the person that is starting to see the the Christian church is nothing more than a religious sham that is actually being controlled by Satan. I know that this may seem like a very outlandish thing to say about the church, but this is stated by Christ himself in Revelation 2:9;13.
This next verse is a very important scripture used by the Christian church as it is the basis of the sinner’s prayer;
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. This scripture may sound like it fits the sinner’s prayer; however, the truth is that this scripture has nothing to do with the lost receiving salvation. This scripture is dealing with the salvation of Israel because Israel got it wrong with all of their self-righteousness. Instead of having faith, they chose to live by the letter of the law but they were empty in their works because they had no faith. Why ignore Romans 10:3?
For THEY [Israelites] BEING IGNORANT OF GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS, and GOING ABOUT TO ESTABLISH THEIR OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, HAVE NOT SUBMITTED THEMSELVES UNTO THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. You see, salvation is God’s business and Israel made it their business. The only role we play in this picture is to believe by faith and it is God that gives us this faith to begin with but the problem arises when man takes credit for God’s work. Modern day Christians are committing the same crime as did Israel. The sinner’s prayer is an establishment of human righteousness. Why do you think there is a worldwide campaign to save sinners? Listen, you cannot save anyone and saving soul campaigns are nothing but religious works. God does the saving so get out of His way. The Christian church will have you to believe that this is all a big game of marbles. Whoever has the most marbles will be the most important in “heaven”. If we play this game like the Christians do, Satan wins the game of marbles since the church teaches that most people will go to hell to be tortured for all eternity.
Now then, let’s consider the part of Romans 10:9 that tells us that we are to confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. The word “confess” is translated from the Greek word “homologeō” and it means to agree with, to promise, to declare, and to acknowledge. This action reminds me of the American pledge of allegiance because we acknowledge with our mouths that we are loyal to the country of our origin. So, with this understanding, we must “confess” the Lord Jesus Christ. Who is the Lord Jesus Christ? What is so significant about the name Jesus Christ?
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
How did Jesus Christ obtain this kind of power?
Philippians 2:9 Wherefore GOD ALSO HATH HIGHLY EXALTED HIM, and given him a name which is above every name:
So Jesus Christ was highly exalted by God and God gave Jesus Christ a name that is above every name and his name is the only name by which we can receive salvation.
Now, according to Dr. Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, the name Jesus means “Jehovah is Salvation” and it is further described as the SAVIOR… the savior of what, the savior of who? Is there is scripture in the whole bible that tells us what kind of savior Jesus is? Yes there is…
1 John 4:14 And we have seen and do testify that THE FATHER SENT THE SON TO BE THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.
How many of you Christians out there believe that Jesus Christ is the savior of the world? Do you believe that Jesus Christ who was “highly exalted” by God and given a name that is above every name will fail at living up to the fullness of his name? The scriptures say otherwise;
Philippians 2:10-11 That at THE NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that EVERY TONGUE SHOULD CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD, to the glory of God the Father.
When we “confess” Jesus Christ as Lord, we are confessing everything that his name stands for;
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus [God is Salvation – the Savior of the world], and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
This verse has been transformed into an instrument of works salvation yet most people that read it do not even believe it.
1 John 4:14 destroys the concept of a sinner praying Jesus in to their heart and thus saving himself since Jesus is the Savior of the World regardless of what you do. Your choices cannot and will not change this truth about Christ. Christians don’t think that Christ is the Savior of the World. They think that God the Father is weak and incompetent seeing that he commissioned Christ to be the Savior of the World, yet he won’t save the world not even half of the world. Most Christians will struggle with this because they don’t understand God’s plan for redeeming all of humanity. They don’t know the real gospel of Christ. They have been taught about the terrible false doctrine of hell that is the most evil sadistic teaching of all teachings in the church. I will admit that there are many stupid false teachings in the church but all of them take a back seat to the evil teaching of hell.
When I explain this to those who are infected with the disease of Christianity, I am met with foolish statements such as this;
“If hell isn’t real, then what are we saved from and why did Jesus die for our sins”?
What? I cannot even explain how asinine this question is. Let me pose a better question;
If hell IS real, then what are we saved from and why did Jesus die for our sins?
You see, Christianity teaches that Jesus died to save us from hell although the majority of the entire human race will end up there anyway so why did Jesus die for us? The answer to this question is simple if we would just read and believe what the scriptures say. Jesus did not die to save anyone from some evil pagan torture chamber. Jesus died to atone for the sins of the world to save us from the ONLY punishment for sin which is DEATH…
Romans 6:23 For the WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH; but the gift of God is eternal [age-lasting] life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
This isn’t difficult to understand if one just read what the scripture says. Because of sin, we as in all (humanity) are subject to DEATH… The wages of sin is death not an eternal LIFE in hell.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by ONE MAN SIN ENTERED INTO THE WORLD, and DEATH BY SIN; and so DEATH PASSED UPON ALL MEN, for that ALL HAVE SINNED:
Since we all know that we are going to die one day, we have no choice but to accept it even though we may not like it but death in and of itself does not create sufficient enough fear to scare people into submission. Religion is big business and as with all businesses, the goal is to increase profit. How do churches increase their profits? By spreading their evil doctrines and scaring people into being Christians because more Christians equals more tithes and offerings.
A few years ago, I took my family to the local fair and there was a table set up making braided bracelets. The bracelets were free but the catch was that those who wanted a bracelet had to listen to them share the gospel with them. My oldest daughter which at the time was probably about 8 or 9 wanted one so we went up to get one. The old lady started ranting on about Jesus dying on the cross and not going to hell and then she asked my daughter if she wanted to be with God in heaven or in hell with the devil when she died? What preadolescent child thinks about death? I’m thinking to myself, woman, she doesn’t want to go to heaven or hell, she wants a bracelet. My daughter started to get teary eyed as it was obvious that she was disturbed by what the woman spoke about so we left, without the bracelet. Unbelievable…
An eternal life in hell is certainly an extreme substitute for death but people act like dying isn’t that big a deal. Well, have you ever lost a love one? Was that a big deal to you? Do you want to die? These are silly questions but they have to be asked. Of course dying is a big deal. Jesus saves us from a lot more than just death but death is the primary event we will eventually be redeemed from.
Jesus Christ died to pay the penalty of death for all humanity since we all are sinners. Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.
We are not being saved from hell; we are being saved from sin which results in death, but I know all too well, that Christians love their evil pagan doctrine of hell. They wouldn’t have it any other way and they could care less about God’s will. Christians want sinners to fry in hell for eternity for rejecting their false christ who isn’t the savior of the world. Little do they know that they are really the ones doing the rejecting. They reject the real gospel of Christ which is that He will save the whole world.
Galatians 1:6-8 I marvel that YE ARE SO SOON REMOVED FROM HIM THAT CALLED YOU INTO THE GRACE OF CHRIST UNTO ANOTHER GOSPEL: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and WOULD PERVERT THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST. But though we, or an angel from heaven, PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT WHICH WE HAVE PREACHED UNTO YOU, let HIM BE ACCURSED.
There is only one gospel of Christ and I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes. So to all of you pastors and preachers teaching the counterfeit gospel that proclaims that Christ will not save the whole world better be careful because it is the teachers who will be held to a greater judgement. The teaching of eternal torture in hell is not “good news”.
Christ died for us, paid the penalty for our sins, and was resurrected to life. We will all follow this example, but the process will be different depending on your calling from God. John 5:29 And shall come forth; THEY THAT HAVE DONE GOOD, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE; and THEY THAT HAVE DONE EVIL, UNTO THE RESURRECTION OF DAMNATION.
This may sound scary, but this has nothing to do with hell. The Greek word for damnation in this verse is “krisis” and it is also used 41 times in the King James Bible as judgment. Damnation sounds so much worse and trust me, the King James translators intended for it to sound scary because it fits the teaching of eternal torture in hell. God’s judgment is a righteous judgment.
Now Christians will tell you that people go to hell because they reject God’s precious gift of salvation. It would be nice if we had a little scripture to go along with that bit of heresy but we both know that no such scripture exists. How in the world can a person reject anything from God when it is God behind the scenes controlling everything?
Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD which WORKETH IN YOU BOTH TO WILL and TO DO OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE. Does this sound like we control anything to you?
This is the real gospel of Christ;
1 Timothy 2:3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who WILL HAVE ALL MEN TO BE SAVED, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Now the really “smart” Christians like the theologians and the ones with all the bible degrees will say that the Greek word for “will” in this scripture is thelō and it really means “desire”. So God desires that all men be saved but all men will not be saved. So I guess according to the theologians, God isn’t in control. Well what about this scripture;
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The theologians will still say that this is referring to God’s desire or his pleasure. God doesn’t want us to perish but He can do nothing about it because people choose to go to hell. What a weak god indeed… But I say this is total garbage. God will do all He pleases and all He desires. Do you doubt it?
Isaiah 46:10-11 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, MY COUNSEL SHALL STAND, and I WILL DO ALL MY PLEASURE: Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I HAVE SPOKEN IT, I WILL ALSO BRING IT TO PASS; I HAVE PURPOSED IT, I WILL ALSO DO IT.
What do you say now theologian? What do you claim now Christian? What carnal efforts can you muster up to denounce this proclamation from God Almighty? You see, God will do all His desire and His pleasure. If He desires that all men will be saved, all men will be saved. If it pleases God that none shall perish, none shall perish. God will do all that He says He will do. I serve a mighty God contrary to the evil incompetent god of Christianity.
The sinner’s prayer is based on emotional conviction when a person starts to become aware of their own sin. Saying the sinner’s prayer doesn’t equal spiritual conversion. Many people continue to live sinful lives willfully after saying the sinner’s prayer because they do not understand the scriptures.
Many Christians attend church, pray, pay tithes, and read the bible but mostly because they think that doing these things will keep them out of hell. You can do all these things and they will not change anything about your sinful carnal nature. True spiritual conversion is the only thing that can give a person the power to live righteously and this experience is controlled by God.
So what is salvation and how can we know that we are saved? Honestly, this whole concept of being saved as it is taught in the church is confusing. The church teaches that once you are saved, you are always saved. If you fall away from the faith, then you were never saved. Part of the problem with this teaching is that saved is in the past tense. The Christian church puts a time-stamp on salvation because people want and need the assurance in the present moment. Let’s look at a common scripture that tells us that we are saved;
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye SAVED through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: The way this is translated in the King James makes us think that this is something that we can achieve now and it thus becomes a part of our past. This however, is a direct contradiction to other scriptures such as this spoken by Christ;
Matthew 24:13 But HE THAT SHALL ENDURE UNTO THE END, the same shall be SAVED. God’s plan of salvation is a process. Christians get all worked up about claiming they are saved and this makes them feel special. There is nothing spiritual about saying you are saved and it is actually a carnal sinful action. It is a boast of arrogance like you know the result of how your life will end without any acknowledgement about the process that God has laid out for you. Remember Peter…
Matthew 26:33-34 Peter answered and said unto him, THOUGH ALL MEN SHALL BE OFFENDED BECAUSE OF THEE, yet will I NEVER BE OFFENDED. Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. Peter under his own will and righteousness believed that he would follow Christ no matter what. Christians do the very same thing when they proclaim, “I’m saved”. Jesus quickly made Peter aware of his soon to be demonstration of his lack of faith when Christ was delivered to the Jews. I am guilty of the same offence as Peter. In my own conceited will, I thought that I was strong enough to overcome sin in my life with my own will. Christ quickly showed me that I am a complete bum without Him and it is his power willing me to do and live righteously.
So if receiving salvation is a process and we must be spiritually converted for this to happen, what do we do to become spiritually converted? I will give the best answer that I can think of…
Absolutely nothing… hence the part about salvation being a gift.
It is God that gives us the understanding and knowledge to believe. It is God that gives us the power and will to live righteously. It is God that gives us His Spirit to do and follow His will. It is God that controls everything. You control nothing. You must accept this first before God will do anything with you.
Acts 28:27 For THE HEART OF THIS PEOPLE IS WAXED GROSS, and THEIR EARS ARE DULL OF HEARING, and THEIR EYES HAVE THEY CLOSED; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and SHOULD BE CONVERTED, and I should heal them.
What do you do when the truth is revealed to you? Do you laugh at it, mock it, or do you just refuse to believe? Is it that hard for you to believe that God will save the whole world? You don’t believe this because your heart is waxed gross, your ears are dull of hearing, and you have closed your eyes. You cannot be spiritually converted when you don’t even know and believe the real gospel of Christ to begin with. But the truth is that you do know the real gospel of Christ now because it has just been revealed to you on this site but you don’t believe it. You want to be spiritually converted but you blaspheme and slander the very name of God by making Him out to be an evil god that will torture most of his creation not for a day, month, or year, but for an ETERNITY in some godless hell? If this sounds like you, you will stay deceived in this life.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; but after THEIR OWN LUSTS shall they HEAP TO THEMSELVES TEACHERS, having ITCHING EARS; And THEY SHALL TURN AWAY THEIR EARS FROM THE TRUTH, and SHALL BE TURNED UNTO FABLES.
The doctrine of hell is the absolute worst Christian fable in all of the church. If you are reading the material on this site and you are trusting that God is revealing His truths to you as He has revealed them to me, then God will begin the process of spiritual conversion in your life. Remember that spiritual conversion isn’t an instant process. The disciples walked with Christ for years before becoming spiritually converted.This process is also different for everyone because everyone’s life is different.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING. Don’t deny the truths that have been revealed to you. Embrace it and let God to the rest…
